I'm against kids seeing nudity.. but at the same time, sites that respect the 18 or older rule gain my respect because adults are responsible for kids. Parents are who I'm talking about. I'm a mom, I always remind my son, that's why I was born first, before him.. To make sure he behaves. That makes ME MOM, not him. lol

I think all will be fine
I hope! If the world works the way it should, it should be fine anyway

Oh, I had it..I just didn't take it. I had the fun lesson in life. My parent's. They felt they had the right, not the school system to give me the the great and mighty talk....unfortunately for me, it lasted 3 days.

Sims 2, the latest version of the Sims video game franchise ... contains, according to video game news sites, full frontal nudity, including nipples, penises, labia, and pubic hair." This guy is an obvious twit blinded by the hacks you have to pesue to unlock these features.

But in the case of Rockstars game its justifiable to remove it.
It wont stop the games allready out their sure but will stop others from unlocking this seedy features using the "Hot Coffee" method.

The problem is this was an added feature laying dormant in the game which is bad conveinging the methods of how rockstar origionally got its rating!!.

In the SIms sex is constitunal and you have to build a relationship to get to these levels and even this is between adult and adult, Teen and Teen no other age coincides... this man obviously forgetts this with his rant! I say :banned: rockstars game but the Sims?

They tried this with comics. They tried this with books (btw, buying copies just to burn them--I thank you for putting them on the best-seller lists, heathens). They tried it with movies. They tried it with television. They tried it with music. They tried it with art.

To a degree, they have succeeded in that the rest of us now have clipped wings so their children will never fly at all.

Who are the they? *restrains self* People who blame others for their problems. People who never grew up. People who see evil everywhere instead of good. People who are afraid.

I teach. I guid. I explain. I protect. You do what you want. I'll do what I want. No harm, no foul.

:werd: so what's the problem. big deal. I don't want nudity in the game. I'd tell that attorney to go annoy some other game company. Anyway, if he did make a case, imagine the thousands of Simmers who would protest!

heres a few points id like to make (sorry if theyve already been said)
-that guys an idiot
-i doubt hes ever played the game
-the nudity is not realistic in any way ts simply smooth where there should be "parts"
-i doubt he knows the definition of porn
-EA cant stop people from making nudity skins because of the bill of rights. freedom of expression falls under freedom of speech. and by making nudity skins people are using their freedom of expression
-its near impossible for EA to hunt down every site that has blur removal hacks and the cheat to remove the blur.
-he doesnt know gamers too well. if he did he would know most of us would keep playin it even if it was banned.

From what I understand, he's not going for "banned". He's going for a M+ rating.

Default No its not at all!!!!
I just got the Sims 2 nude patch because I wanted to see what it was like and if it was worse than Hot Coffe then Sims 2 would not be a teen rated game and for crying out loud the Sims 2 nude patch takes away the infamous censor and brings a highly dissapointing result because all there is are bumps for breasts no vaginas or anything not even nipples.
Oh and is there anyone here who knows how to unlock the PS2 and XBOX versions of GTA Hot Coffe?

one last thing i have to say before bed

If motivated enough, perverts can easily buy up a bunch of barbie dolls, draw or paint gentialia on them, and pose them in all kinds of naughty ways. In the long run it would be cheaper than buying the sims (you can get a bag of barbies at a garage sale for like $5)

isn't that sort of the same thing? Are we gonna make barbies adults only now too?

Toys are just toys, games are just games. tv is just tv. Parents should raise their children themselves instead of expecting their schools and the tv to do their work for them.

What normal sane person would go on a gun rampage because he/she did it in a video game? That person was already unstable, and anything could have triggered an outburst of violence.

I've never understood those "video games are evil because they are violent/sexy/graphic" arguments.

Default I Agree!!!
I for one, will be turning in my copy of The Sims 2, and University. The FACTS stated in that article make me i'll to the stomach, and make me want to vomit. How can you people play a (life simulation) computer game that contains nudity. You should all bathe with your swimming attire on, so you never have to be subject to this disgusting use of the human body that allows us to excrete waste, and reproduce. While your at it, put swimming suits on your pets...

My Dog Fido, happily sports his swimming suit, as does my goldfish flippy, why can't yours? The Sims 2 and all games/files/sites/etc should be banned/deleted/shut down, as they help human beings see the "Wonky Parts" of life.

Now that that's done, I wonder if this guy will blame The Sims 2, or other video games for Michael Jackson's Accused Child molestation. According to the article, it should make Michael extremely happy to have such a game, as it contains child nudity.

This is not to be taken seriously.

EA does everyone a favor by bluring out what's not even there. I just don't understand why they blur out when they sit down, because they don't even bother to pull their pants down.
Sure, I admit to owning/playing San Andreas, a very violent game, but I have to disagree when people say you get 'rewarded' for killing people/enforcers of the law. It is quite the contrary, you get dozens and dozens of police officers trying to put you in the slammer or end up killing you. I strongly disagree with the people who say violent video games make violent people. Human beings make their own decisions!!!
Sorry, I began to rant. This guy never experienced a full childhood. I seriously doubt he experienced one at all. He wants to poke and pry at video games until it the industry is dead. Maybe he will steal Christmas because Mrs. Clause is giving children Barbies in which they can undress. (I'm sorry if I offended anyone of any other religion)
I will not let such malevolence exist on this beautiful planet we call home.
I have an idea, he should stick his nose into those cell phone ads which show pictures of women in partial birthday-suit. Plus they refer to them as 'babes'. Heh... babes....
I say, "GO AFTER JAMSTER AND THEIR NAUGHTY CELL PHONES, MISTER 'T'.

Well, I can't blame him for grasping, but this is a far, far reach and one that will likely cause him to topple. I for one feel that people play their games, much the same way life approaches them and to which they must react and accept the consequences accordingly.

What makes TS2 different is that you have relationship appropriate choices and the chance to effect social interaction on a graduated scale, while experiencing the 'unknowns' of varying personalities and moods. From a therapy standpoint this can actually be very beneficial for someone who is a social introvert or who suffers social anxiety disorders. I feel that most people, of all ages, are satisfied to play this game more as an escape from the reality and pressures of RL, because these pressures do affect people of all ages.

Anybody can find disturbing situations anywhere they look these days - yet the critical and urgent issues of RL are ignored by people who have the opportunity to make a real difference. Anyone can make something out of nothing with enough effort - So...Why don't the Mr. Thompsons of the world channel this fervor towards something more beneficial to society as a whole? Because that's not as sexy as attacking the gaming industry!

These people have too much time on their hands.... Isn't there a cure for cancer yet?

If he's going to waste his life like that, he should at least get his facts straight.... See? Hm.... Do any of you see genitals in this pic? (that's a teen, by the way)

Somehow I just knew the sims would be the next target of that stupid man and you know what the wonderful Hilary Clinton started all of this. Hilary , Mr Jack, and anyone else who doesn't really have anything to do but, attack games need to remember one thing kids will learn about the BIRDS & BEES from friends at school and TV before they ever learn it form a video game. I mean the sims 2 is rated T that means TEEN. Hello parents if you don't want your kids playing a teen rated game don't buy it for them. Mr Jack has never played the game right out of the box or he would know that there is a blur there. Even if you us a cheat code to remove the blur there our no normal body parts showing. To see all of that you have to get hacks. I think the sims is a wonderful game and I hope no damage is caused to Will Wright or anyone working at Maxis or EA Games. Also if they are so worried about sick people looking at the children in the game, then why don't they go out and do something about all of these child porno web sites. Child porn is a very REAL problem and it happens to REAL children not simulated ones. :fight:

It's too bad we can't "mod" or add a Sims blur to real life situations or people.

If we could, I'd blur Jack Thompson's mouth, and mod his voice so he sounds like a Sim.

I have hated Jack Thompson for many, many years, even me him, and was compelled to beat him to a pulp for being ingorant and stupid

The Sims is harmless fun, he hasn't played the game, nor has he SEEN the Hot Coffee mod, they have their bloody clothes on, and nothing actually happens

GOD DAMNIT, just thinking about this guys retardness makes me wanna jut go up to his face and tell him to shut the hell up

This guy is just an ambulance chaser (medical malpractice attorney). I have the no censor and the nude skins. If my 2 year old sees me playing the sims all she says is "Look, mommy. The lady is taking a tubbie (her word for bath)!" She has seen me naked and I don't make a big deal out of it. She doesn't even care. Breasts are no different then your elbow. It's just a body part. I don't fluant in front of her either. I don't want her to grow up thinking her body parts are bad or something to be ashamed of. It's natural and human. Who cares? My sister had 2 anatomically correct BABY dolls. A boy and a girl. She didn't care either. She just changed their daipers and yelled at them for pooping again, lol. It's not an issue until you make it an issue. I'm surprised he didn't go off on the fact you can have homosexual relationships AND adopt a baby. My lesbian sims are so happy they got little Beatrice! I found this too: http://www.stopkill.com/
