Some people do sleep sometimes you know..... :p
The specular will be either the one that ends with 445 or the one that ends with 45b, I don't know anymore since you filled both with gray.

I guess you already saved your base mesh over the sunshadow meshes. Make a new clone, and check how they look in that originally. They are not at the origin (0.0.0 point, where the colored lines meet), but under that and moved a bit to the side. That's where you need to have your own base mesh to match. And match the size too.

Did you save over it? You just need the original settings of the 2 shadowmesh files.

Note carefully that the objects are positioned not at 0, 0, 0 like your main objects. The sunshadow is created by the game, in realtime, based on the position of the sun and the direction and difference between you main LODs and the sunshadow ones.

You need to emulate the game item design, placing copies of your new shape at the locations used in the original item.

If you like to say what you think, be sure you know which to do first.

In order to disappear the shadow above you mesh, you must open each file (LOD & MODL) and look where the mesh is located and its size.
You have to place your new mesh at the same location of the original EA file, and with the same size.
Also you'll have a normal sunshadow, when the mesh is outside, and a dropshadow inside a house.
I notified that among these 4 original files, two mesh have the same location and the same size. And 2 other have another size and location.
So you make your mesh, you use it for 2 files.
Then you move and scale your own mesh and use this one for the last 2 original files.
Just look at the original meshes in the files before exporting.

Hi Hraklis943,

Scale in Milkshape = select first the group or groups of YOUR mesh (the new). I don't know how many you have.
Then check scale, buttons to scaling will open. The defaults settings will be :

X = 1.0 (represents X axis)
Y = 1.0 (represents y axis)
Z = 1.0 (represents z axis)

If you need to do bigger, write for example 1.2 for each letter and select scale (on the right of these letters).
You can look at your mesh at the same time how it is.
Scale + until your mesh has the size of the old mesh. I do that no in details and it works.

If you need to smaller, write for example .8 for each letter and select scale.
You can look at your mesh at the same time how it is.
Scale - until your mesh has the size of the old mesh. I do that no in details and it works.

When your size is ok, select "Move" and move your group(s) with your mouse.

I can't show you because I'm not home.

I converted my favourite Wall Lamp from TS2 and i think that i mapped it ok...
But heres the problem:

(Next to it is the lamp that i cloned from TS3 to make it)
These black stuff.....how can i remove them?
The lamp now it's supposed to be white...its working well with the lighting and stuff(I set colour green thats why the lighting is green)
So what can i do?
Thanks
Ps: I have attached the file if anyone wants to take a look...

Default okay I took a look at your lamp package at your request
I can probably help you fix it but I'm confused about what you want it to look like. Do you want the black parts in your pic to be lit up, like the whole thing is glowing?

Or do you want the black parts to be recolorable?

Either way, you need to change the dds that controls what gets lit up. It's the greyscale image that's not the specular or multiplier.

The main/rgb channel part of this dds, as far as I can tell, controls how much brighter the bits of the lamp gets when it's on. The alpha portion controls which bits of the mesh get brighter. Parts that have the black parts of the alpha mapped on to them will not be bright when the lamp is on.

That's why parts of your mesh are dark-- how best to fix it depends on what you are trying to get it to look like.

Hraklis943, please stop bumping your threads. You got plenty of help already – people post when they get around to it, that's the nature of a forum.

BabaYaga already answered your question, you should edit the alpha of that grayscale image. You can't expect people to hold your hand all the time :P
By the way I think there's only 5 lines allowed in a signature.
