So ok, I understand this is not the right place but I've read the FAQ guide and really couldn't find a solution to my problem.
My SIms 3 has stopped working, I believe it is because of some CC content I've installed lately (I ran the chkdsk utility), so I tried deliting said CC.
Problem is that when I try to open the Sims 3 folder, my PC tells me that the file is unreadable or corrupted, so it can't open it. This is the reason why I can't follow the FaQ's points.
It probably is pretty serious, isn't it? Does anyone know of a solution?

Have you tried re-installing the game?

Try to delete Documents -> The Sims 3 folder. Just the Sims 3 folder. Then launch the game, and it will create a new folder called The Sims 3.
