I have had this idea for a while. Would it be fun to have sims who are learning the martial arts skill be drawn to spar on an anchor point like the dance floors. The mat could be 5x5 and Your sim depending on there skill level can earn money by sparring. Winning at level 1 skill would be $200 loss would only get you 1/8th of the amount so $25. Max level $5.000 per fight Loss of a spar would though give you the sore de-buff immediately. If there is a way to make it so it is usable for certain amount of hours that we can change. Also if you have Into the future you could have a ring only for Robots and Robots will get damaged during their spar or sims with the Bot Fan Trait (must wear bot disguise before clicking the arena.) If your sim has a match with a Robot they might have a small chance of dying due to electrocution or fire if the Robot is in really poor condition and gets mangled.

The options when clicking would be settings where you set the hours that the mat is usable, The ages Teen to Adult allow/disallow, (Teens will only face other teens) match gender or mix, clothing option Athletic, swimwear, or uniform. Allow/disallow occults or humans, and randomize skill level in town. Then the option Spar with sim or Spar which would randomly pick a sim on the lot to join you on the mat. Npc's may also call to spar your sim.

Elders that master the martial arts skill get to be Titled Sensei or Sifu given a special mat that you can put on your lot or business lot and Teach. The animations will be the same in the game but the Sensei or Sifu will stand at one side and the other side of the mat will allow six sims mirroring the instructor. The Sensei or Sifu will earn $200 per student attending for a two hour class. And students being taught will gain the skills faster then on there own.

Other ideas for clothing option is costume if you have seasons then sims will wear a Halloween costume and if you have ambitions then it includes Super Hero/ Villain if you have the Evil Trait in the ring. Also have the option to create costume for your sim.
