Default Snooty Sims scoops again! Floor elevation cheat!
Snooty Sims found a new cheat to enable raising and lowering of floor tiles even if they have objects on them.

boolprop constrainFloorElevation [true/false] (use false to activate)

Woot for the Snoots!
(see http://www.snootysims.com/ for pictures and more news!)

I love the picture of the high dive they built. That cheat certainly provides some interesting building options if used creatively. Thanks for letting us know

if sims jump off the High board, do they swim in thin air?

No - the animation takes over shortly after they start to jump, "popping" them down to the normal level of the board, regardless of how high the diving board started.

that makes it seem as if they expected someone to do this.... or it was planned for an Expansion pack

No - if so, they would have had the system allow them to jump on the board, and then extend the length of the dive until they hit the water. Instead, they walk to the end of the board, get ready to bounce, then POP down to the normal level of a regular diving board, jump up and dive into the water - really looks dumb.

Yes the high dive look dumb but I believe part of the problem is that it has to be placed one tile inn form it correct position. Because the sim drop down and then go up again before the dive, the dive itself look ok. If you place the diving board on the slope it appears halfway down and is not reachable. If someone find a way to place it on the slope but on the height of the tile behind or a fixed height in the air so you adjust the ground to reach it the problem would probably be solved.
