TS2: Screen flashes when edge scrolling and water isn't detailed
HP Probook 450 G1
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4200M CPU @ 2.50GHz
Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
RAM: 4.0GB (3.88 usable)
Windows 7 Professional
64-bit OS

I recently installed the Sims 2 Ultimate from Origin, and while everything loads really quickly, I'm having a lot of graphic issues and I'm not sure if there's any fix for them or if I'll need a new graphic card or if it's something else.

The flashing is due to your smooth edges setting - you just need to change it to something other than what it is now, it usually doesn't matter what. The water is a deliberate feature designed to save integrated graphics cards from being damaged by overstress - they're not designed for gaming.
