Default Will Sims 2 play on Windows 8.1?
I hope I'm writing this in the right place. Can someone please tell me will the Sims 2 play on a Windows 8.1 computer? Thanks for any help you give.

Thanks ajaxsirius. I bought this computer just to play the sims and I can't get it to work even with those steps you showed me. I found some sites that said it won't play on a windows 8 so I was just trying to find out if there was anyone here that has used it successfully.

Yeah windows 8 sucks for playing games. Maybe ask in the Sims 2 forums for more help, they'll probably be more knowledgeable than me since I haven't touched The Sims 2 in years...
