Default Windows 8
I have a Windows 8 computer that I use to play The Sims 3 on. Is there no programs used to extract files for Windows 8? Or are mods just not compatible with Windows 8?

You can use 7-Zip, it's a free program. A link and more information can be found in the Custom Content Basics.
