I found this video on youtube , very interesting.
An integrate graphic is strong enough to play Sims 3 with max setting @ 1920 x 1080 resolution.
The uploader said
The Sims 3 on the AMD Kaveri A10-7850K Black Edition APU
Ultra Settings Gameplay at 1920 x 1080p
- Benchmark using Integrated Graphics only
FPS (Without Fraps)
APU: AMD Kaveri A10-7850K
*CPU: Quad Core up to 4 GHz
*GPU: AMD Radeon R7 at 720 MHz
RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengeance at 2133 MHz
HDD: 1TB Seagate Barracuda at 7200 rpm
PSU: Corsair 430W Builder Series
ODD: Asus DRW-24F1ST DVD±RW
MoBo: Asus A55BM-A/USB3 (FM2+)
OS: Windows 7 Pro (SP1) 64bit
Driver: AMD Catalyst 13.30 rc3
Capture: Fraps 3.5.9
Production: Sony Vegas Pro 12
I think if he overclock a bit (maybe APU @ 4.5Ghz , RAM @ 2400Mhz , GPU @ 900-1000Mhz ) then minimum framerate should exceed 40FPS easily.
But at stock setting the new APU from AMD is good enough to play Sims.
The problem with A10-7850K I think it's too expensive , for 189$ you can get Athlon x4 750K with Radeon 7770 or the new name R7-250X which is faster at same cost.
Maybe if Kaveri have strong IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) like Haswell , RAM @ 2800-3000Mhz may result in IGPU perform like 7770.

Yeah... there was someone who asked for a budget PC a few months ago and I recommended a FM2+ board because I remembered hearing that Kaveri was gonna be pretty good. Glad I wasn't too wrong. Shame about the price though!

Huh. I'd love to know how long one of those lasts playing TS3 regularly.
