Hi! I live in france and I want to buy a new laptop so I can play sims 2 with all expansions and stuff packs.
I found this one:

Toshiba - Satellite A660-12E
Windows® 7™ Edition Premium 64 bits
Core i7-720QM (1.6/2.8GHz) 1333MHz
ram: 4GB (2GB+2GB) DDR3 (1066MHz)
hard drive: 500 GB
NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M 1GB DDR3
16"

What do you think ?

C'est tres cher.

For the same amount of money you could get something better:

Yes, but I heard there is a lot of issues with windows 8 and sims 2 so I want to be careful.
But if I have to choose, I think I will take the Asus one.

Hrmmm yeah... I guess you're out of luck then.

If you don't want to try this: http://modthesims.info/t/500523 then I guess that's as good as you'll get it. Anyway the A660-12E should run The Sims 2 I think.

You know what Simlylife, I would post to the Sims 2 Help Forum and show them what options you have and ask them if they think it's better to go with Windows 7 and a weaker laptop, or with Windows 8 and a better laptop.

They'll probably be better experienced to tell how Windows 8 really is with The Sims 2.
