hi my fellow simmers

I just installed the sims 2 happy holiday stuff on my computer, I had it for a long time but I never installed it in while. As I installed it I tested it out and noticed that went the npc santa klause came he was wearing a suit and his face was gone, I checked the create a sim and I saw that none of the clothing items had appeared from the game. Does anyone know why this is happening? I've had this game before, and I played it without the problem?
