Welcome to the moderation queue thread! This thread is one of the ways for us to communicate with you on what needs changing, why it needs changing, and of course, helping you with any questions you might have! (or just the need for feedback before sending something back to us). This post is all yours. So only you and the moderators can read and comment in it

Guidelines:

Each section listed above in the table of contents has one or more Guidelines listed. Each guideline will have either a cross () or a check () to indicate if it's below or above the level expected by the guidelines (See "Why do we do what we do?" later).Â* Anything marked with aÂ* will need to be corrected or changed.

Note: For examples and help with any of the guidelines you can click the icon next to the title!

What's going to happen:

1. We send the changes that don't (yet) meet the guideline, resulting in this thread!
2. You check over what yet needs changing.

2.1. Each thing that needs changes, comes with examples and a better explanation, so make sure to make use of it!

Why do we do what we do?

The MTS staff believes that CC should come with a certain level of quality, defined by these guidelines - this means having good screenshots, a good title, description, good texturing, meshing etc. This basically draws a 'baseline' for what people look for on the site, but also making sure a good amount of effort is put into the work.Â*Â*Of course, we don't expect the best of the best, but as long as something has a lot of thought, research and work put into it, it should usually be fine quality-wise.

Providing information is key to having a great download. Simmers love a story, and where better than the description box?

Providing your content in the correct file format is important so downloaders can use it successfully in their games!

In order for downloaders to see your content clearly, it's important to provide certain required images for each creation. These pictures will also help upload moderators assess the quality of your work in a fair manner.

These guidelines are applied once on the upload as a whole.

Required screenshots need to meet basic quality standards, such as being big enough for us to see clearly and not too dark.

These guidelines apply to every required screenshot individually.

Quality is the important things about an upload. Testure crispness, architecture, uniqueness... everything that differentiates your upload from the rest!

Special guidelines that apply only in certain cases.

Just a quick note - you might want to correct that sentence, I believe it should say a maximum of quality?

No, not maximum.Â* Because there's always a minimum quality level expected in terms of description, screenshots, etc.Â* You always strive for a minimum quality level as a baseline.

I see. Maybe it's a language thing then. Minimum level sounds like lowest level, not "a defined baseline that must be met at least which very likely is higher than lowest level". Oh well Thanks for making that clear.
