Default new hard drive
The good news is, that I realized very quickly that my computer problems were stemming from a hard drive failure and had it replaced. I even got a back-up done so my games and downloads were saved.

But now that I have my computer back and running again, I've realized that my Sims are gone. I mean, they are on the back-up and I've restored them but I am going to have to re-install all my games again first, aren't I?

And of course, all the rest of my cds are on the other side of the state because I thought I wouldn't need them.

Do you mean "restored" as in using Windows Restore?

No, I pulled the files off the back-up.

Yes, you are going to have to reinstall all of the games again.

Oh boy. I've been wanting to play sims all week too. I guess I'll have to wait another week to have them mailed out to me (and that's if my mother will be nice and send them right away!).
