Do not buy from iBuyPower. They are a well-known bunch of con artists, whose usual MO consists of selling shitty computers built from poorly refurbed parts, then refusing to do anything about it when your shiny new shitty computer stops working six weeks after it arrives.

What I lack in decorum, I make up for with an absence of tact.

ok, slashing the ibuypower off the list. i checked on amazon just now, looking at the CybertronPC 5150 Escape Gaming PC (3.6GHz AMD FX 4100 w/Radeon HD6670, 8GB 1333MHz DDR3, 500GB HDD, LED 6-Fan Control, Windows 7. specs are here...

CybertronPC 5150 Escape
At a Glance:

3.6 GHz AMD FX-4100 quad-core processor (unlocked)

500 GB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 RPM, 3.0 GB/s)

8 GB installed RAM

AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics (1 GB)

Dual-layer DVD±RW drive

7.1-channel HD audio

400-watt power supply

for 699. not too bad but will it play sims 3? the pc i currently use plays sims 3 with medium and low options but cannot play pets. have had the pc for many many years is why i want a new one. time for a upgrade more less. but wondering will this new one run sims 3 good? if not then wont bother with it. Anyone have any recommendations?
thanks so much

okay, lol. sorry to keep posting but doing some more research and stuff. I am thinking on this one.

CybertronPC Kombat-X
At a Glance:

3.3 GHz AMD FX-6100 hexa-core processor (unlocked)

1 TB Serial ATA hard drive (7200 RPM, 6.0 GB/s)

16 GB installed RAM (1600 MHz)

Two AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics cards (1 GB each)

Dual-layer DVD±RW drive

anyone think its good enough for sims 3 and all of the expansions? I think it would be good, plus i'd rather buy from amazon.

What country are you buying from and what is the maximum you're willing to pay?
