With the PSU and mobo configured to the suggested selections, the build looks OK. Should be good for your purposes.
But ALL High Settings is a waste of CPU+GPU power and just produce more heat with not much noticeable difference to the naked eye, even if the game coding is able to tweak it as such. I have a feeling some settings are just ignored once the game is set for that CPU level as per the sgr file.

Different combos may result differently, however. Just saying what happens on my rig. Beyond some settings, tweaking it higher does not produce a difference to my eye anyways, but my GPU does grind and emit more heat and noise, with slight lag in gameplay. I dunno, maybe just placebo effect.

I was actually thinking of buying this Alienware : http://configure.euro.dell.com/dell...s=dhs&cs=ukdhs1
I've looked at it and it seems like it would run TS3 on full settings!!
It would also be easier for me to buy it from Dell, and it's not too pricey!

Not pricey? £900 for an i5 system with 1TB HDD, and questionable PSU? It seems pricey, to me!
And since when is the backup and Recovery stuff not a basic item, but an add-on? For £6? Come on!

Wonders why they call it "330W AC Adaptor", though? It's a power brick outside of the chassis? And for a configurable model, the PSU is not one of the options that can be user-configured.

That custom Alienware chassis might not be as upgradeable for future needs (more HDD, longer GPU, etc). And you're allocating @ £900 to just the chassis and it's components alone when you still need monitor, and maybe a different PSU (it comes with 330W PSU)? Which is weird as the GTX 660 (included in the price) needs a minimum of 450W (and 24A). You should really call Dell and ask about that.

Why didja change your mind re: the falcon model we discussed earlier?

@ellacharmed: It's a "minipc" that's why they call it "AC Adapter".

Yeah it's a slimline PC and the specs are worse than the falcon. Definitely a no from me.

Thanks for your help guys, I've decided not to go with the Falcon as I've heard worrying reports about the seller. Instead I've gone for this (Well I'm going to buy it later next week) Look good? I've heard that it's great. Thanks for your help...

Also I've heard that this one is good:
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/hp-pa...884755-pdt.html
It's cheap but apparently it can support TS3? Not too Sure...

EDIT: I'll only really need "Sim Detail, Texture Detail, Edge Smoothing" On very high, the others I could use on low or medium. As I only really make sims...

Definitely not the HP. The Asus is great, but it's also $1250 (+tax, +shipping probably)

They're currently going through very tough financial times (The company itself). I've read reviews where they've sent dead PC's, or not even sent them at all... Then they weren't even offered refunds for their purchase which never even arrived... But I have also read good reviews of the site, so I'm not sure what to do... Oh well...

ok, thanks for that. Was going to get my Mum a cheap one from there next week but might look elsewhere now. oh, if you pay for things on a credit card you are covered if they don't send/refund or goods are faulty, that's what people are being told to do at the moment to avoid getting caught out.

I wouldn't advise using PC World by the way - you pay through the roof for computers that are dated in comparison to websites and they are part of the Currys group who are also in financial difficulties. I wouldnt recommend pcspecialist.co.uk either, I ordered one from there years ago and it took about three weeks and really wasn't very good.

Amazon is quite good - you can get squaretrade warranties too (2 or 3 year full warranty, if it cant be fixed you get your money back), ebuyer.com (also do squaretrade warranties) aren't bad either and are a well known company.
