"Lighting.txt" : How to change the sky color ???
Actually I use the New Weather atmosphere by chris997
http://modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=187229

and I like the daybreak effects but I think the current "Lighting.txt" mods don't apply good colors to this atmosphere !

So I want to try other colors in order to get a better result !

What are the settings that I can change ?

My current best guess is "skylight"

skylight (0.4, 0.2, 0.1) 0.75
skylight (R,B,G) Alpha

Sadly the atmosphere mod sky isn't affected by this parameter !

Look, I thought you meant to mod the lighting.txt for a similar effect.

What chris997 did is to simply make a huge object to occupy the whole lot and then the sky is actually the internal side of the object. So, the texture was mapped internally. The lot and sims and else are graphically inside that object.

It means you have to change/lightend the texture of the chris997 object to obtain what your looking for.

Theoretically yes if one is looking to recolour chris997 object when it's recolourable.

Recolor isn't enough because the sky color must change each morning, day, evening and night !

So I think it require a behavior mod, I don't know how to handle it !

The atmosphere mod sky is in the same color than the neighbor houses, just I must find the good parameter !

I found it, the parameter which is able to affect the sky color of the atmosphere mod is :

environment

This parameter also affect the neighbor houses color !

In fact, "Weather atmosphere" mod is a large object and the lot is inside it so the sky color is changed like any objects outside.

In fact, I've got copy and modify the Morning settings from the Lighting Mod by spookymuffin and the Evening setting the Radiance Light System 2.1 by GunMod
http://www.modthesims.info/showpost...666&postcount=7

Look at the lighting.txt file, you should find "lightingState morning" line followed by several settings.
This is a block which ending by "end" line so between these 2 lines, look for the "environment" parameter.

"environment (R G B) X?" parameter use a decimal Red/Green/Blue values between 0 and 1.
For example : "environment (0.85, 0.65, 0.4) 0.8"

Modify the Evening, look at the "lightingState evening" block.

It's because my settings are applied during Day-Night transition (Evening : 6-7 pm) and during Night-Day transition (Morning : 6-7 am).
So you should copy these parameter lines from the lightingState morning or lightingState evening sections and put them inside the lightingState daytime and lightingState night sections if you want to use it during day and night.
Remember to do a backup before change this file.

Even if you've got EP/SP, you must only edit lighting.txt from the base game.
I don't know if the cloudy weather from EP5 Seasons keep this settings.
If it doesn't, just look at the lighting.txt from EP5 and edit it.
