Thank you ! I think it's not important which language you use, the cool thing is the mod adds more possibilities to the randomizer....

In Polish version of game a lot of Sims have got the same surnames (but they aren't family). It's really annoying. French people have got the same problem like us, so we aren't alone... but it should be repair by regional branches of EA.

What a great idea, and what a great service! You can really take this somewhere...providing names that read Italian, Portuguese, German, English, French, Spanish, African, Chinese, Samoan, Inuit, Cherokee, Tibetan, Thai, Jamaican, Louisianan, Texan, South Carolinian, South Philadelphian....

I only did it in french because I'm not familiar enough in the other languages to make a good list of names for them. ^^
But if someone has one for another language, I can make a mod with it.

Languages other than english have about 40 names in each category (male, female, last name),

If anyone is looking for english names version, I did it already - one version edits russian names, as this one edits french, and the other one forces games of all languages users to use english name list, which contains 1080 female names, 1078 male names, and 3149 last names. Not sure if I can post here a link to tumblr, but it can be found in my profile, or just look for endless-laziness on tumblr, if you're interested (too lazy to post it here...).

This mod works according to the language in which the game is installed? For example, if I play in English and install this mod, the names appear in French?

No if you play in English, there would be no change in the names. This mod only adds names to the french list.
