I loved the idea and I will definitely try at least once for flavour on gameplay, but this is so foreign... Is It that hard to enroll in a university in your country?

Besides the admissions interview, yes, those are all requirements for most universities in America.

Love it, but question: is it 100% success if you do all these things, and do they have a relevant score, as in, your existing high school grades, skills etc? And is it possible to only need one of two recommendation letters for example if you are a grade A student, but two if you have lower grades, or for example score lower/ higher depending on your skills?
I haven't tried it yet -I'm about to load the game-, if it's not the case, please take it into consideration and see if it would be possible, still, I love it anyway!

For conversation's sake, where I live, in order to graduate you have to sit through national exams for each of the major subjects, plus some you have elected, same for all the country, same day, different material of course every year. Then if you are interested in applying, you get a form, mark in odrer of preference the schools you're interested in (College/University, all in one form), and then you have to wait until the end of August. Then each school/College/Uni has a minimum acceptance grade, depending on demand from the applications nationwide, plus how many "spots" they have for new entrees. So, say you have scored 90/100, and your first choice was 92/100, you got in. But your second choice was 86/10, then you got in. Basically, it's not up to the institution to accept you, it's all mathematics and statistics...

That's interesting! I didn't make it so that you could get rejected but other mods have and mine is compatible with those if you wanted a little more challenge for your sims

My sim is going through an application process now and I was wondering how long does it take between the interview notice and the actual interview. It’s been almost a day and she still hasn’t received any notifications about going to her interview.

It shouldn't take more than three hours but they only occur between 7am and 7pm. If you haven't had your interview scheduled by noon the next day you should be able to request another interview but let me know.

I am equally looking forward to and dreading this at the same time lol. I love the idea of this because it makes it harder and more realistic to the schools here (USA) but at the same time it does make it a little harder >.<. But I strive to have a lot of realism in the game so this is absolutely perfect. Thank you!

So I took all my mods out except for MC, CC, and your mods and tested the save but my sim still didn’t get a notification about the starting time. I’m not sure what causes this because all other parts of application process work perfectly fine.
What about the weekends though, can she still go to an interview on a weekend? When I tested the game it was Friday night and Saturday.
One more thing, the option to reschedule an interview is always available, even right away after she schedules one.

Interesting mod but had to take it out. It removed the computer security settings options.

So I played and realised, what if a sim is adult? where do they get their references from? is it teen exclusive?

It is odd indeed, could be my save file? I do have Get Famous and I am actually using your Patreon version of this mod. I can't leave comments there so I found this thread on MTS My sim is already in Uni and I can't test it again right now but I will definitely put your mod back in when any of my other sims decide to apply for college. Maybe it's just a glitch!

No, I don't. I have a lot of mods but I don't think any of them alter Uni applications process. The only Uni mods I have are Zero's mods. Do you think they might conflict with yours?

No Zeros don't (with the exception of Teens Jump to Uni) but that's not your problem because you can see all the other aspects of the mod so I assume you either don't have that one or aren't using a teen. The interview is only available 7am-7pm. Also if you click on your sim after they get the initial scheduled notification, are you able to see the option "At Admissions Interview"?

I am having the same issue with the interview. I have done everything else for the application, and every other aspect went through fine, It has been 2 sim days I sent in for an interview, no notification. My Sim is about to age up to YA.. will she no longer be able to go to Uni?

Do you have the same issue without any mods? Like if you did it with only the uni mod installed does it work for you?

I took them all out and still no notification or phone call for the interview. However after taking those out, I now got the option to reschedule. I reschedule and nothing.. Then it gives me the option a few hours later to schedule it again, and repeat.

I love what this mod adds, but it's not working as intended. I'm experiencing the same issue as others. I'm able to complete all the steps except where it comes to receiving the mystery phone call for the interview. I've waited multiple days, rescheduled, made sure it was during business hours (after 8 before 4) and still no call. The only other uni mods I'm using are Zero's Sheldon Cooper and Scarlet's faster homework. Edited to add that I also had LMSs Random Small Mods > Get Famous in which has some phone call suppression in it related to blind date call and job offer suppression. I've taken those out and I'm going to try again.

I updated the file and changed the way it functions slightly so please redownload and let me know if that changes anything for you. Also... does your sim know anyone?
