Heey, this is a townhouse. Isn't it? Two doors, each for family and shared wall in center. It would be two very very cheap apartments for rent, but architect decided to make it one house.

It's possible... you could redo it that way (townhouse/duplex) BUT, it would be very small! Actually, I think it was originally intended as a vacation cabin type thing - basically just for sleeping and eating - you're supposed to go out and about doing vacationy things when your not sleeping or eating. LOL! So... I think the sliding doors across the front are just to open it up and let in the breeze.
