Thank you so very much for this - I don't mind moving things back and forth but it does get old with 12 place settings that each 7+ items, lol. You rock!

Great idea! One question. When placing clutter objects using this method, will they survive that horrid clutter removing process if ever you wish to redecorate/reposition the walls of the room they are in.

Perhaps you've gone to the time-consuming trouble of filling a trophy/collectibles room using this new method. Hundreds of knickknacks all painstakingly, strategically placed. Lovely. Then say, I want a refreshing pastel blue wallpaper now, not that mundane beige colour. Change wallpaper, and wham!!! Millions of knickknacks ruthlessly sent to the family inventory. OUCH!

Will we see that Maxis horror story repeated here when using these little beauties?

Thanks.

Do these require MOO to use? If not, I'm sold!

Isn't that MOO-related, if I remember correctly (from a topic on AHQ)?

I LOVE clutter when I build. I don't like being sloppy but I like that my sims homes look lived in. It's not always easy to do that when there is such limited space on surfaces so thank you so much for this mod!!

I have no idea. I actually haven't used this for anything yet, lol. Collectibles were my main reason for wanting this for myself. I hate displaying a hundred crystals and they're all the same size and evenly spaced, yuck.

As late as yesterday I was putting the finishing touches on a house build and ended up (again) cursing Maxis for their half baked, random placement of slots. Today @InternWaffle to the rescue. Thank you for finally letting me place clutter where I want.

Very much needed. Can't think of all the times there was space on a shelf for more but I couldn't put anything else on it.

Is this like OMSP for Sims 2? If it is, that's awesome!

I love this idea, because it's like the OMSP from Sims 2 & 3, but where is it found in the catalog? I looked under every surface and deco category, and I finally selected for custom content and did a Show All, but I can't find it. It is definitely not under misc deco; there's nothing there that's $0.

I'm going to try moving your package file to the base mods folder and see if that works. It's only one folder in, but maybe that's not good enough for this one.

ETA: It turns out that I had to go to "Show All" and search for Invisible, or it wouldn't show up. (It kept sending me to "not so invisible shelf" under displays when I was selecting misc deco, for some reason.) Why not have it show up in a category without actually having to search for the name? That would be far more intuitive for users.

It's not like OMSP, you guys. It is literally the exact opposite of an OMSP...

It is located under misc. Deco. It's not hidden. The instructions also say to search for Invisible to easily find it.

This problem has been plaguing us simmers who love to build and place clutter, but thanks to your mod, now we can do that without the hassle! Thank you!!

I made an account here JUST to say how much I love this mod. It's one of those "I didn't know I needed this" mods. All I do is build and decorate really and this has made it SO MUCH EASIER to decorate random tables and shelves.

What a fantastic mod! This is perfect. I have so many surfaces that are barely usable, but thanks to you... Not anymore. That you for this great addition.

I have been using this since you posted it, and I have to say it's amazingly brilliant! I have no idea how you came up with this idea in the first place, but once you get the hang of working with it, it is absolutely brilliant!

Personally, I used Sims4Studio to move it into Misc Surfaces, and it's now the first item on that list. The problem is that the game does NOT sort categories by price (even though it pretends to), so you have to scroll down under Clutter to find it. If you want to leave it in clutter, you don't have to do a search by name (I found that more time consuming), but just scroll down a few rows and it should be there.

Once again, to the OP, this is an absolutely brilliant little item.
