I`ve never think about such but now I see this kitchen pic and need to know. Does ice-cream maker being placed in a lot adds ice-cream to restaurant menus?

No, not as a generic lot that your sim just visits. However, if your sim OWNS the restaurant, you can set the menu to include ice cream. Also, If your sim visits the restaurant, they can go in and make their own ice cream.

Default No Door
Very nice but you forgot to add a door that leads from reception into the restaraunt.

?? There is no door that closes. It is just an opening.

I never got a chance to really look at the menu because all those stupid celebrity sims kept interfering with ordering. The Waiters kept wandering off to oogle at the celebrities. Get Famous is very annoying. Almost as bad as Sims 3 papparazzi.
