Well... it took a while for her to get back on her feet. But, after Cat finally unloaded uh, sold that most glorious Beach House - if you remember, that was her first foray into the world of flipping houses - she quickly invested in another property. This one, a bit smaller.

She found this old single-wide mobile home for a very reasonable $12,514. It is a very sturdy structure, but exceptionally blah on curb appeal. Cat knew right away she would "bump-out" the front of the house in a few places. It needed a new roof anyway - so she might as well make changes to the roof-line... It also needed fresh siding. She really liked the color, so that stayed the same. The old windows and doors, though still perfectly usable, lacked character. After successfully selling them on Sims-list, she put in energy efficient thermal-pane windows with cheery flower boxes and a leaded-glass front door instead. "Boom baby!" Curb appeal? Check!

The faux-brick trailer skirt was traded for an actual cement foundation, which was decoratively finished to look like faux-fieldstone. The cement foundation, besides securely tying-in to the walls and roof (a safety measure that Cat absolutely insisted on - as it will prevent the house from traveling to Oz in the next storm!) It also houses a basement. The basement walls are over a foot thick in places. And, with a properly sealed door, the basement could serve as a very comfy bomb-shelter. Since she was pouring cement anyway, she added a driveway too. She would've also added a carport, if a slight "family situation" hadn't come up...

The deck was inspired by this, *ahem*, 'situation' - a family reunion last summer. Because Cat didn't have sleeping space for out-of-town family members, she was volunteered to host the Big Bar-B-Que Bash. *sigh* That's what happens when you miss the "Planning Party." So, the deck became top priority, and was finished before the interior renovations could be completed.

By the time Cat got around to finishing the inside, she was pretty low on funds. Thankfully, all the inside really needed was a little paint and paper. Well..., paint, paper and fresh carpets.
...And elbow grease. The kitchen tile was such a good deal she just couldn't pass it up! (It had been discontinued - but they had just enough left over for what Cat needed - and they practically paid her to take it away!)

Cat's got her eye on another place in town that goes up on the auction block next month. So, she asked me to get this one listed for her, "And price it to MOVE!"

A side-note for interested buyers -
I made this lot with the aide of Numenor's AGS (what a wonderful tool!) It needs NL, OFB, Pets and SSN installed in order to work properly. I used absolutly NO custom content. When I put this in my 'Real' game I immediately invisified the alarm and driveway, and added tire tracks with terrain paint ;-)
If you don't have these already, I would strongly suggest getting them:

- Invisiblesmokealarm by PFfish @ MTS2
