Candle-Town Uptown
Hi folks, I present you a new part of Candle-Town: The Uptown ![]() Expansion Pack 1 (world adventures) required Saved with game version 2.6.11.005002 Size: 60x60 Furnished: 496,115 Unfurnished: 361,425 Some Details: Houses: Brewery, Town Administration, Training Hall, The Great Hall, Mayors house, a small house, two bigger homes, empty house for your purposes Outside: Kitchen garden, small field, butterflies and moth, some bugs, frogs, two secret doors, two parking lots, a placa with outdoor chess, small park, field of honor (losers have to deal with HugeLunatics Guillotine) all: the fire of Amon Din ![]() ![]() - Replaced one small garden with a pool - Edited the river, now sims can walk along the water > shorter ways ![]() - Noticed: importing old lots into an Ambitions installation couses some problems, now I've uploaded a Ambitions-ready file - Added a new big room for the sim-gnub-game - Fixed the fish-seeds - Removed three not accessable objects ![]() - Added some washing machines and clotheslines - Now, uses the skeleton that came with Ambitions - Look at page three in the comments for the updated pictures Hint: When you place the lot in your world, have a close look at the ground painting,.. if you feel it doesn't look right, then please turn the lot around before placing! That's a general problem when placing lots with ground paint, it has nothing to do with my lot. Tested with my 8 sim family. Have fun! ![]() ![]() CC Stuff seen on the pictures but NOT included: Thanks to HugeLunatic for the Guillotine: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=397216 The skeleton from http://www.aroundthesims3.com/objec...wntown_02.shtml , scroll down a bit. You can also use the skeleton from Ambitions (thanks to morten8035 for reminding me) EA Store items used: Buy stuff: Castle Door: 100 SimPoints (looks better with!!!) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...emale&startAt=0 Banner: 25 SimPoints (looks better with!!!) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...male&startAt=30 Shield and sword: 25 SimPoints (just deko) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...male&startAt=30 Fake-Wood: 25 SimPoints (just deko) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...emale&startAt=0 Treasure chest: 25 SimPoints (just deko) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...male&startAt=30 The tower top: Seems it's included in the castle outdoor set. If you don't have the castle outdoor set, don't panic, I have constructed a normal pointy roof beneath, the only thing you have to do is, delete the default replacement. http://store.thesims3.com/setsProdu...8830&startAt=15 Free Store Stuff: Thanksgiving: free (just deko) http://store.thesims3.com/setsProdu...=OFB-SIM3:18280 Arch: free (used in the placa and on top of the tower) http://store.thesims3.com/productDe...emale&startAt=0 Day of the earth: free (plants) http://store.thesims3.com/setsProdu...=OFB-SIM3:20378 Lot Size: 6x6 Lot Price: 496115 879 people have said thanks to candlelight82 for this download. Download Summary
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer. 2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. 2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting. 3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder. 5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list. 6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done. 7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin. Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use. Need more help? If you need more info, see Game Help:Installing TS3 Packswiki for a full, detailed step-by-step guide!
