Updated February 21, 2011 - Added the option for Adults to tuck in toddlers.

Updated Jan 6, 2009 - Thanks to aelflaed and Inge I have fixed the extra tile to be totally usable. Please be sure to delete the original file and replace it with the new mesh file. If you have any in your households you need to rebuy the bed to reset the initialization. To read more please read the posts from aelflaed and my responses.

If you have not downloaded this before please only download the last 2 files. The first file has the original bed and is no longer needed for a new downloaded.

For over a year I have tried to find a way to have a custom sized bed with working bedding. Actually since July of 2007 when I released my first double bed for toddlers. It was considered impossible to do this, and as far as know no one else has accomplished it.

Well today, after more failures then I can rememember, I have successfully completed it.

I used the Princess Bed released with Teen Stuff and reduced it to a 2 tile bed, with bedding that works!

The bed shows the footprints for 3 tiles, because I was not able to remove the 3rd tile completely, but no cheats are needed for placement and the 3rd tile is free to use.

This bed does work with the base game (I have tested it with only the base game installed) and all EP and Stuff Packs. This should work for any combination of EP's etc. The base game did have problems calculating the needs, so to make it useable for all game combination, the test will allow toddlers and children to go to bed no matter what their energy level is.

This bed is for toddlers and children only, it is found under Seating/Beds for $800. Energy and Comfort are set to 10. Both Toddlers and Children will stay in bed until 6 AM if not directed to do something else.

Thanks to Wes_h's plugins I have done manual edits to several of the child animations and created most of my own animations for the toddler relax option. I also edited the sleeping animation to make the toddler eyes close when asleep. (my previous versions toddler slept with their eyes open)

I found the jump option the most difficult to get around, but I did finally figure out a way to make it work properly. If you'd like to see how this didn't work very well for my first 2 tile bed please see this video: Click Here

Children and Toddlers will not get hot when jumping on this bed, an option I really dislike about the EA beds.

I have my 1 tile bedding match changing table in the photos. It can be found here: http://linna.modthesims2.com/download.php?t=255127

To have all the items that match this bed you will need to get the Teen Stuff Pack.

Bedding uses all Maxis Bedding and any recolors you have.

Enjoy!
