Game Problem - Delete Cache Files

Often if the problem is in your user files, it may be as simple as deleting a few game-generated cache files. If something becomes corrupted or incorrect in these files, your game might not work properly.

For instructions on deleting your game-generated cache files, see: Delete Cache Files.

Test

Once you have deleted the files it tells you to delete there, try running the game and see if the problem is fixed.

No Problem

If deleting the cache files fixed it, great! Continue playing and don't worry about it - sometimes those files just go weird and need deleting. If the same thing starts happening in future, try deleting the cache files first.

Problem Persists

If deleting the cache files didn't fix it, and the problem still persists, then it's something else in your user files that's causing the problem. To track it down, continue to: Isolating the Problem Folder.
