Thank you, I have always hated that problem. Not only do bad sims come through that, but other seemingly harmless areas of the game.

I've even had a sim bring a friend to a lot that turned out to be a bus driver. They were completely unable to be asked to leave or interacted with period... So I quit without saving. That's why I never let sims do that ever again.

Every time some one posts the problem of pets starving and can't eat from the bowl, I knew I'd heard of a bug fix for it, but couldn't remember from where. Well, here it is The Finicky Pet fix.

They can eat flowers. Yo have to teach them to "Come here" and then you can call them to eat their doggy food.

I did not find this, Curls77 told me about them but oh my god best thing ever. Thank you Curls77, I am very grateful!

Anyone who has seen any of my set-creations knows I am a sucker for every possible combination. I can't predict what combinations I may want one day, and it drives me nuts when I have something that is almost what I want but not quite. No! All of the things all of the time. And so this creation is right up my alley.

CatherineTCJD has made a wallpaper-overlay series, that takes all of the wall decorations from Maxis wallpapers, and separates them from the actual wallpaper. Now you can have that border, the trim, the panels or what have you, with any wallpaper that you want without needing sixteen versions of the same wallpaper with different trims. Holy guacamole, that is brilliant. Kind of like Michelle and her invisible painting frame-recolors for Maxis paintings. Clever way to give us many options, without needing to do every recolor in every option.

Find one part of the set here. That's where I started (thanks again Curls77!), it has links to the rest. I'm surprised at how few downloads it has, given how brilliant it is. Clearly more people than I have not seen this, and everyone should see them. Definitely an awesome find, albeit not my find

Is there a way to fix walls when you don't want any trim? Quite often I use a wall and wish it didn't have any. Thanks for mentioning those trims though, I didn't understand what they were for before.

I just looked through those walls - awesome!

Duine - it looks like she has walls that she separated from the trim as well: http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=420751

Catherine thought of that, one part of that set is non-trim versions walls that didn't come with a non-trim version. I can't guarantee every single in is included, I haven't had time to go over it, but it would not surprise me if every single one is there. It is a very thorough set.

EDIT: I see venusking already replied. Why I didn't notice that, I have no idea. But I'll leave it any way, not much point deleting posts on MTS since they don't truly vanish.
To make it not entirely a waste, I'll link Michelles frame-sets. BG frames and NL frames.

My bad, I've post the wrong stuff for the first link. (I've got a lot of tabs open)
And I'm honestly not sure about the second one because I swear I saw a download link before, but right now it is doing nothing for me.

For the first one, try:

Squee! I just downloaded it and about 90 other items from there. I think I may finally have enough to start a medieval hood.

Jo, how long till 2016 in Aussie Land?

Fractured Moonlight's Growing Flora. I use these to make it feel like flowers are actually blooming / naturally spreading on my lots. And sims don't autonomously pick them, either!

Wow, dragon hunting. Those two are amazing. I won't download as my hood wouldn't suit dragons, but I wanna register at PBK just to say thank you, and for the other sets I have gotten there. The seasonal crops, basking weaving set, candle making (actually that is Rebecahs) all have made my village market so much more exciting.

I've had this item for ages, but I'm gonna post it as it deserves more downloads - Green tea machine with steam animation.

This isn't directly sims-related, but very useful. I've been using it for years and never really thought about sharing it.

Greenshot. Its the best tool ever. What does it do? It takes screenshots. BUT WAIT. THERE'S MORE.

What makes it so awesome, you ask? Well, for starters, it's free. Secondly, you can grab a screenshot of the whole screen, just a window, or just a chunk of whatever you're looking at. You can have it automatically save to your computer in a specified folder, or automatically upload to one of several services. Or you can select where you wanna save it each time. Want to do minor editing? You can open it in Greenshot's editor and edit there, too. It lets you censor information, add arrows and gestures, all sorts of things.

I use this on a daily basis, on my Tumblr, for my downloads, you name it.

Firefox users: Don't want something so involved? You can get a similar tool for Firefox that labellavienna posted about.

Does FRAPS do screenshots? I was under the impression that FRAPS was for video.

No it's a screenshot program as well. I took all my uploaded lot photos here with FRAPS. You designate a key and it runs in one corner showing frame rates and it takes a bmp which goes to a folder on C drive. It doesn't come with any kind of screen that you can grab and alter size though it just takes the whole screen. That's FRAPS free, the paid version might have something more to it.
