Thank you both so much for your comments! Catherine, twice as many people have downloaded with cc as without. We'll see if that holds! But if we want more downloads, it would probably be good to upload versions of both. I may try to do that from now on, but of course it is more work! Thank you people who download either way!

Thank you for giving us the choice. I always opt for the basegame ones because they make my computer run less hard. I do like basegame recolors though and I will use homes with those.

Gorgeous house Anne! And really great idea to make it in two styles with cc and without it.

Hi jylla and StellRien! Yes, I like to give a choice. I think it's easier to build first with no cc, and then redecorate using cc. I did it backwards last time and I had to delete a lot! Thanks so much for commenting!

I do have a question though about display on some of the houses. For example on this I know you used move objects to get those front and back middle windows; they were made up of a single vertical one and then a rectangle one that is near the top- To mesh together and create a new window shape. However after download and even when my move-objects are on, those windows are walled, meaning just the frame appears and you can't see out the windows because there are two windows on one wall. Is there a way to get that to display properly because whenever that happens I have to replace the windows.

Uh oh! My social bar is low - that's why I posted today.

I'm so glad you asked that question because I'm sure other people have the problem too. When I make those windows, you're right, I have move objects on. I place the vertical window first, and then the second window. I admit I didn't know that it created a problem when downloading. I think maybe I better stop the fancy stuff! I just get tired of the same stuff all the time!

I understand! It's neat how you make new things by meshing the base stuff but even in mine I somehow can't seem to get that window effect with my cheat on. It's okay though I have some custom windows that match and I'll just replace the ones that come up with that walled error. It's the layout that matters the most anyway!
