Breaking away from cell-shading and doing some realistic coloring.. I'm so happy I'm out of the cell-shading phase.

I did I triptych in art class where you had to take an image and progressively (from one piece to another) de-evolve a realistic painting into abstraction.

Living in the birthplace of Starbucks, Tully's, and Seattle's Best... It was only a matter of time that I painted a coffee house.

This is the first image, which I'm most proud of:

-Holy Hell!-
The cement is just - it's there for the weight dear!

Nice 'n' easy does it everytime...

I <3 threads like this. It makes me wish that I still drew, but it's been quite awhile. Maybe I'll dig around for my Powerpuff girl drawings, i used to do a lot of those. =)

It's great to see talents here other than simming and other things related... Another little glimpse at the people behind these online nicknames.

Kinky, i really, really like your fairy, The way she is positioned and stylized, good design!

Saddest, what to say? You have an excellent pencil stroke and good at realism too. And i admit that i too wonder who that other man is... :]

Here's one of mine, a painting of a random dark elf i sarted ages ago and just kept going back to it now and then, you know the type you just work on it 15 minutes here, 30 there, leave it there for months then go back for another 20 minutes... *sigh* I getting sick of it but i so want to get it done someday. I'm going to work on her garment next.. Hence the basic sketch of her headpiece...

Art, the most sublime mission of mankind for it is the exercice of the mind that seeks to understand and to make understand.

Wow, there is some seriously beautiful art here!! :wow I wish i had time to comment on every single one, but they're all so fantabulous!
Lilie that elf picture is absolutely gorgeous. The lighting, the tones, the softness of her skin...it looks amazing...
I've got a couple of pieces I'm proud of. I'll scan them into the computer later and come back to post them on the thread.
