I'm working on it actually ... But, I can't seem to get a picture with the menus and such. There must be an add-on that you folks use huh?

You can use any photoshop program or any program to minimize into your desktop with sims 2 game running. You can push button "Print Screen" on your keyboard if you want a picture of showing sims 2 game menu options.

Strange ... PrtScn doesn't seem to do anything ...
Perhaps if I had Sims in Windowed mode.
But, I figured out how to do it with Paint Shop Pro Photo XI without having to run sims windowed ...

I started the sims, then crtl+tab to paint shop.
In paint shop ...
File, Import, Screen Capture, Setup ...
Then I just set it to full screen, hide cursor, multiple shots and set the hotkey to F12 (i don't think the sims use this one)
Then I just clicked on Capture Now and switched back to the sims ...

Anyways, here are my end results, I hope it is OK.
I couldn't think of anything else to take a picture of for "Unlock Everything"
I know we are so tired of CAS screens and that wouldn't have shown
everything at the same time anyways.

I didn't try Ctrl+PrtScn, I'll have to try that later.

Erm... I don't have a "save game" nor "saved game" folder in My Documents > EAGames > The Sims 2. The only one like it is "SavedSims". Should there be one?

After re-reading, do these go in the PetBreeds folder, LockedBins folder, or both? And if both, is there a way to tell which goes where?

LOL me too. Apparently the big issues were:
1. I was including a Self Installer.
MTS2 doesn't allow them, apparently.
I have found quite a few in the tools section of course hehe.
Exe files makes a lot of folks uneasy and I completely understand.

2. I was including a userStart.cheat file.
MTS2 doesn't allow them, apparently.
There would just be too many versions. I completely understand that also.

I'm hoping MTS2 might update their Guidlines to let folks know
that userStartup.cheat files and Self Installers aren't allowed.
I know it would have saved me a LOT of time.
(I spent 5 days trying to get this posted)
I do actually read the guidlines

Anyways, Enjoy!

Sorry for the confusion.
The Sims 2 Save Game Folder is:
My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2

And yes, they go into their corresponding folders.
I listed which files go where.

Please re-read the description, All the info is there for you.
This is why i wanted to make a self installer

Dropping 2¢: In PSP, just hit Shift+C to start a new capture w/ your previous settings (say after you start up PSP anew). Also, the PrtScn option also works for me, fine. In PSP (or MSPaint), just hit Ctrl+V afterward.

AHH! I didn't realize you had to paste the capture using prtscn.
I've actually never used the capture feature LOL.
hehe, I saw the Shift+C shortcut ...
I was just doing it the hard way cause I can I guess
Thanks, now I know for future posts.

It the previous posts you added a nocensor package, it is the main reason I think

OK Folks, here is the whole story. Please stop talking about it after this.
I've gotten a few PMs and e-mails about this mod =\
I'm glad you all like it and want it.
At least now I won't have to e-mail it to anyone again LOL.
Please don't ask me for the self instller anymore either.

Yes, the uncensor package was included with my very 1st post, but not after that one.
I forgot that there was an adult section, I hadn't been to this site in ages.
Although, I have no idea where that adult site is ... they don't seem to link to it at all.
Anyways, I removed it from the self installer and didn't repost it.

I was told I should remake it before I re-post.
The 2nd time they deleted the thread apparently because of the self installer and userstartup.cheat file.
Once again, they didn't make that very clear either.
They even threatened to take away my priveledges.
(no, I'm not saying which staff members, don't ask)

I wouldn't have re-posted the cheat file if I'd had known it wasn't allowed.
As for the self installer, I was told that it wasn't usually accepted.
That, I needed to be clearer on how to make backups and uninstall it.
So, the next time I posted it, I included a zip file with just the files as well as the installer.
I gave very clear instructions.
My logic was if they didn't want the installler,
then I could just delete the installer and leave the zip of the files behind.

Then there is this post ...
I was told straight forward by yet another staff member today
that I could re-post it just not to post it as a self installer
and not to include the userstartup.cheat file.
So, here it is.
Of course, this could have been achieved with the 2nd posting
simply by deleting the 2 files they didn't want
and leaving behind the one I have posted here right now.

It doesn't matter though.
It's all done and over with.
My only complaints would be with the poor communication
and the time I wasted trying to meet their guidelines
that were never made clear to me.
Perhaps now they might add the userstart.cheat
and self installer stuff to the guidelines.
Then the next poor guy that just wants to try and be nice
won't be threatened to have his priveledges taken away.

I'm not a rebel, I follow the rules as long they are just.
You just have to be sure to let me know what the rules are.
Don't make them up as you go and expect me to know about them

Long story short .. here's the mod, in the format that MTS2 will allow it.

There was poor communication, some feelings got hurt.
Nobody died, there was no blood shed.
It could have been handled better, but it wasn't. Oh well.
My motto is "It's ALL Good!"
I can't control what others do, I can only control how I react to it and how much I let it affect me.
I will stand up for myself when I feel that I am being attacked.
But, I was never rude. I was always mature about the whole thing.
In the end, it all worked out.

I'm considering this matter dropped, OK?
Wow, I feel better after venting LOL

Hey MTS2 staff ... No Hard feelings, OK?

Enjoy!

Not a problem :D
Does it make sense the way it's written?
If not, how might I re-write it to make it more clear?

Enjoy!

LOL the codes are all over the place on the net.
This only saves you having to enter them yourself
I think MTS2 even has the codes listed somewhere.
There are 2-3 codes for each item also.
I don't know why Maxis gave the same item 2-3 codes, it doesn't seem to make any difference at all.
If I use the Bandit Cat code I got from EB Games as a pre-order "bonus"...
I unlock SimSteam Bandit Cat
But, when I use the one I got from my cat getting a promotion...
it only says Bandit Cat.

That's the only difference I can see at all LOL.
Then, there are the ZZ??.. codes vs the EB??.. codes ...
They both seem to unlock the same thing to me.
If someone can tell me the difference between the different codes, please feel free.

This "patch" uses all the ZZ?? codes by the way.
I think my EB Games code might be hiding in there also.
But, I've already seen my EB Code on the net tons of places.
They must have given out the same code to everyone hehe.
Here I thought I was special
