Default Mesh editing, hope's up again
Theres a new clothes download @ TSR, male child speedo underwear that's body-fit, previously everything had to be tube-like. Not anymore, someone has found out how to edit meshes!!!

never mind, proved wrong by Delphy, it contains a reference to a pre-existing mesh file

It's not mesh editing - it's mesh referencing

They didn't create a new mesh at all - they simply used an in-game mesh for that particular skin.

The "3D ID Referencing File" thats in the package gives it away

yeah the swimsuit skins are the easiest skins to make other skins out of. since swimsuits are tight and they stick to the body when you make new clothes out of them even if their not swimsuits they always come out perfect. all you need to do is edit the swimsuits A channel to create practically anything you want almost.

WallSims claims to have a new 3D Body Mesh; the cleavage mighyt be just an optical illusion, but the boots certainly don't! http://wallsims.povlab.org/ Unfortunatly they ask 2 euro for the download. Is anybody interested looking into it?

File recieved. Again, it just uses a Mesh ID Reference file - there are no meshes contained in the actual file.

Extracting the TXTR also reveals that the cleavage is an optical illusion as well.

So, nothing mind boggleling new here

Yes it is that booted outfit. Hope youdidn't waste your money on it. So is it an already in-game mesh? I am pretty sure never saw it before. The cleavage is fake isn't it? If so, we may conlcude th mesh is not created for this outfit. A shame Wallsims is misleading the community. Didn't expect that from them. :-( means we are back where we were.

The warrior boots mesh came with the Gamespot package for use with bodyshop. I have the mesh and those are not optical illusions. The bust is at least a full cup size larger than the basic maxis mesh. The cleavage is 100% true on the mesh. I searched for amazons at the sims exchange and found many skins for that particular mesh. I want to have meshes so I can edit them like I have for TS1. I made meshes for www.simskins.net in case anyone is interested.
