That's a great museum, love the themed rooms and if you get tired of them you can always change the exhibits!

Default Basegame Community minis
Inspired by someone else's ideas, I've been making 1x1 community lots. Basegame only. All lots are shrunk to 1x1 size, and since this means little space, and no CC has been used, they are not cluttered. But I'm quite pleased with them, and they all line up down two sides of the main street, dovetailing nicely together.

Here we have the bingo hall, cinema and pizza parlour.

Final installment! Hope it's okay to post these in batches, but I really wanted to show them to people and obviously it's too many pics for one message.

Here we have the Internet Cafe, Library and Miniputt Golfing. Hope you like them too.

You really were inspired, weren't you? Very nice.

Have you play-tested them? There are a few that seem to have very little room to move around. I've found that I tend to get about 7-8 additional visitors when my sims visit one of these 1x1 lots, and they will bunch up unless there's enough empty space in the middle, or at least multiple routes through.

The coffee shop, in particular, seems like it may need a bit more room. As well, I'm concerned that a sim may get stuck between the desk, chair, and wall at the back of the internet cafe.

I have a park and minigolf in my neighborhood, but yours are so much better!

I'm looking forward to your upload(s).

I've playtested all of them, and there were no problems moving around, except that in the golf park all the townies bunched up near the grill and blocked the path around the back of the lot. They moved eventually when asked.

I did have a sim autonomously use the desk at the back of the internet cafe, and she had no trouble getting out. Of course, it might have been a fluke.

For some reason, sims seem to prefer the theatre at the right hand side of the cinema, and they all crowd in there to chat even if they aren't watching the screen. Silly sims.

Glad you like them!

Warrete: I love that shop and the disinterested girl working behind the counter reminds me of too many places I've been too xD
Flux1212: ..there are no words to describe your creations. I am in awe.

Say hello to PleasantView Horses. A showroom for Kyle and Alyssa Hartland's racehorses situated right in the center of suburbia.

Flux: *gapes* *blinks* Woah those are absolutely amazing! You should upload some of them, I would definitely download them. (Even downloading all the CC for it, it would still be worth it!)
beki.cookie: I love the pictures and the lot, they are very good shots of the lot and the horses
warrete: That's really nice, where did you get the clothes model stands?
aelflaed: I love them, especially the Dashin Diner and the Internet Cafe.

Thanks for all the comments!
beki.cookie: Love the horses! I love putting animals on my lots too.
Kailacat: I've put some lots up for download in the past on my LJ but there was never too much interest in them so I kind of stopped doing it ...

Not a business but a small community lot I built for my neighbourhood.

Same, not a business, but a community lot I've built: Country Road Elementary School in Pleasantview.

And a couple of shots at recess:

On the merry-go-round, we have Aurek Caliente, Vignette Trimble, Leverett Trimble and Sunday Caliente (all of whom except Aurek have since grown into teenagers and moved to Country Road Secondary). I believe the townie twirling them around is Komei Tellerman, who I dubbed the 'principal' because he insisted on photobombing every shot.

Okay, and let's see if I can name all of these children in the shot! All right, here we go:
- Korydon Gonzaga-Broke (hiding behind the sunflowers)
- Lindsay Trimble and Sawyer Caliente (two girls shaking hands)
- Judith Broke (watching Lindsay and Sawyer)
- Esther Broke and Pacey Burb (behind left post of the sign)
- Callum Gonzaga-Broke and Leverett Trimble (behind right post)
- Madison Lothario and Canyon Fairchild (behind Callum and Leverett)
- Cullen Broke (walking away from group)
- Marcia Broke, Hurley Broke and Solstice Fairchild (on merry-go-round)
- Vignette Trimble (sliding down pole)
- Hale Broke and Desmond Broke (most likely candidates for the two boys obscured on the jungle gym)
- Kent Caliente (walking off picture)
- Sunday Caliente (on monkey bars)
