I used to have a mod that allowed a teen to move out - he would go to the bin. I found it in my downloads, obviously it was not working. Only thing I could find was the same thing, for EP5; I downloaded it (maybe something was wrong with the one I had?) ...there is still no option to move out.

I found a mod that allowed a teen to "run away"; I expected him to go to the bin also. But what happened was he just - jap!- disappeared. His picture stayed in the family list, with a run-away icon.
EDIT: Adults had option to "report dream tracker {& painted canvas} missing". A few hours later the teen was back home.

I will put this in Help also; maybe these are not the right mods, or something else is wrong.

When teens runaway they stay with the family but will not be seen until the last day of teenhood when they will walk back home to age up.
The parents can call the police and report the teen and most of the time they will bring the teen back so you can make friends with the teen and they wont runaway again.

Just wondering, why don't you want to make them independent teens with InSim? My teens move out all the time, get jobs, and such. Nothing bad happens.

Your link goes to a download that seems to just enable teen pregnancy. Yes, I know what a "normal" run away looks like. What I wanted is a mod that lets you DIRECT them to run away. And as I said,with the mod I had they could do that, but not the way I wanted! Instead of making them go to the bin, where I could move them somewhere else, they would come back home in a few hours. Oddly, if the parents called to report them, it would say "report painted canvas missing".

The link I gave is a stripped down version of InTeen with the InTeen part taken out only leaving the move out part.
InTeen has many parts and this is only 1 called "Sari-TeenMoveOut_AptLife.package"

@grammapat no, it allows you to use the newspaper to tell them to run away. Not all the features are listed. There's even a separate package "RunAwayNewspaper", I am pretty sure you can only keep the package without keeping the other parts, but the mod does what you require anyways.Read here (Simbology)
