Try using the CAS Texture Unitool to extract the makeup files. Then play around with the masks, multi's, etc....until you get the result you want.

However, I think that custom make up won't show up in the game...yet. Then again, I've never tried so it's worth a shot

See the sticky in this forum.

Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies.

I've tried editing the lipsticks, but nothing major. I just made lip gloss. So, yeah. Use the CTU.

The game uses DDS for texture files, soooo...you probably need a DDS plug-in

There's one for photoshop

Would you post this somewhere? I'd love to see it.

Sure. It's not too fancy, I just made a gloss.
I haven't completely finished them yet, since when i go in the actual game they don't look as glossy as they do in CAS. So i just have to mess around with it a bit more.

(It's a replacement for the Matte.)

Can we have them without replacing another?

Not yet. I'm sure they are still working on a way to get non-replacements in the game.

Maybe in a full face mask?, but then you wouldn't be able to change the color freely.
I don't know how that would work with the lips, either. Idk. I haven't played with masks at all.

Edit: I'm not saying it can't be done for the lip, but i'm just wondering how it would adjust to sims who have wide mouths or Thicker lips.. I wonder how it would look like when they Pucker, or smile..

Oh alright.
Well, full face masks colors can be changed, but i still have not figured out how to work with it. I was trying to make contacts, but i just can't change the transparency of the mask.

Hmmm. You could try editing the Channels > alpha channel and making it black where you don't want it to show.

Miniie: How are you making that makeup? Because if you use CTU it will give it a new instanceid and thus, shouldn't override any of the existing information.

Costume makeup. The eyes, markings and the larger scales beneath the lower eyelid (not easily visible in these images) are separately tintable. You just can't set colors for decals, which I didn't use here.

Facial morphs move the mesh itself and do not alter the UV mapping at all. It'll apply to the same area. Consider it like a drawing on a balloon.

Yeah, i figured it out. I started messing with it to see how it would work. I made customizable lip gloss.

It's pretty awesome because you can put the EA lipstick underneath and it gives it alot more shine.
