Default New Tutorials & Tools
Howdy creators! Here's an update on some interesting new tutorials, tools, resources, and techniques that will help you make shiny pretties for pixel dollies!

Subterranean Homes/Walk-In Basements:

Great new info on how to build structures completely below-ground using the EA basement tool.

Create-a-World:

A tutorial on creating a river valley as well as some useful mountain brushes. Also check out Moria's conversions of Criquitte's TS2 neighborhood objects.

Animation/Posing:

Twallan has a new mod, The Animator which allows you to access tons of different sim animations - great for machinima, sim creation, stories, etc.!

Sim Creation:

I've posted a new tutorial on creating sims, both celebrities and "other" sims with lots of tips and info.

Tattoos:

CmarNYC has a tutorial on how to convert tattoo images for the Tattooinator - ink up your sims!

Have we missed something? If there's a new tool, tutorial, or technique that should be on this list, please let us know in the comments and we'll add it!

Happy simming, and happy creating too!

I love creating, but my creations do not come out lovely and cool since I do not have the mesh maker... At least I try my best!
Thanks for sharing this by the way! I'll check it out!

A helpful list for creators who may not be keeping up with the various tool forums (like me). I don't do Sims 3, but if I did, this would be quite, quite handy.

Here's a quick and easy hair binner for Sims 2.
Works on hair, eyebrows, beards.

* do all colors, all ages, at once
* bin / townify
* geneticize
* familify
* 4 greys -> 1 grey
* remove unwanted ages
* enable maternity / outerwear
* change eyebrow gender
* decustomize

Can do any and all of the above in one step.

(Hope we're allowed to announce tools here, if not, feel free to burninate!)
