Good fuckin' Lord, guys.
Big church wedding with 40+ Sims in attendence all on the 64x64 lot at the same time? Minimal performance issues.
A scene in a small hotel room, on an admittedly performance intensive and very decorated 64x64 lot with two Sims? No fuck you, it's crash time every time you try and edit the lot to improve performance.
Sorry this one's late, I've been going spare trying to get the game to co-operate.
I sincerely hope so.
'You know, I think they do tend to carry towels in hotel bathrooms these days.'
'I know, but sometimes I just like to air dry.'
'And make a mess of the floor.'
'So what? A big hotel like this is going to have plenty of cleaning staff. They're paid to clean up after guests, I'm just giving them something to do.'
'...Right.'
'I wouldn't have thought that'd be comfortable at nine months.'
'It's not. Nothing's comfortable.'
'Are the contractions coming faster?'
'Eh, not really. Not enough to make a getaway to the hospital. I think this is plain old backache, and it's driving me insane. I've tried all kinds of positions and none of them are helping.'
'Oh really? I could help you with your position research if you want -'
'- No. Funnily enough, pain doesn't help put me in an amorous mood.'
'It works for some people.'
'Not me.'
'Oh, I wanna ask you something while it's still in my mind. So, Quinn, Richard and unfortunately Abraxas are part of this poncey "elite" group for rich assholes, and now me and Quinn are hitched, I'm guessing I'm going to be expected to show my face at these fucking meetings too.'
'An elite group with Father in? Couldn't they do any better?'
'Considering how fucking nasty one old hag in particular is, I'm gonna say no. Thing is though, I guess I ought to make an attempt at fitting in, at least as best I can being the only tatted up goth present. ...But I don't really know the rules of "civilised high society" like this lot think they are. Deveron's loaded, right? So you must hobnob with rich assholes on the regular. Give me some pointers, tell me the etiquette.'
'Alright, so long as that isn't an elaborate cover story to lure him away with!'
'Oh damn, you saw through my scheme. Yeah, I hatched a plot to ditch my brand new husband for my brother's. Now stop being a dick and help me.'
'Well, the only rich asshole I hobnob with frequently is Deveron's, but I feel that isn't what you had in mind!'
'...Did you just...?'
'I'm afraid I did, yes.'
'Goddamn it, Lazarus.'
'Oh, hello.'
'Hello! Good to meet you properly, since we didn't get much of a chance to talk at the wedding.'
'You can tell by the way you're not deaf.'
'Yes, it's nice to meet you too.'
'I was just getting instructions on looking after the girls from Indigo, as though I can't take an educated guess!'
'Well fuck, sorry, I should've let you discover Aura's current fondness for throwing things at people's faces firsthand then.'
'Oh, I am definitely used to seeing objects sailing through the air, and not just from my son, either.'
'Why, who else throws things?'
'Anya does.'
'That's the woman you brought with you for the wedding band, right?'
'Oh yes. Talented lady, but absolutely nuts. The latest thing has been homeopathy and "healing" crystals, all that sort of nonsense. Ausric said what the rest of us have been thinking and pointed out that it was all malarky, and wound up with a piece of tofu cake flung at his face for his efforts.'
'Oh dear. I didn't realise she was like that...'
'It's not as though he said it tactfully, admittedly. Not to imply that makes it alright, but the man has about the tact, grace and wit of a cheese-grater to the testicles.'
'...Cool. I'm starting to regret inviting you here.'
'Aww, I love you too. But yes, it's regularly a scene of chaos in our house. Especially when alcohol is involved, so needless to say there's very little of it stored!'
'Ooof. I don't know if it will be any more peaceful here, though!'
'Depends where Indigo is.'
'Oh fuck you.'
'Anyway, is there anything I need to know for the horses?'
'I wrote some instructions and left them on the fridge. But you can contact me if you have any other questions.'
'Ah, wonderful, thank you! Then, if that's everything, I hope you both enjoy your honeymoon.'
'Thanks, Laz.'
'Thank you. I appreciate you coming over to help.'
'Ahh, it's not a problem, glad to help!'
'Are you okay?'
'More or less. It's about time we met, though.'
'Yes, you're right.'
*KNOCK KNOCK*
'Hi, come in.'
'Nice to meet you.'
'It is nice to meet you, too.'
'This is my friend, Liberty. I brought her for support. I hope you don't mind.'
'Not at all.'
'Hi.'
'Oh, yeah, it's fine.'
'So... Um, how is your baby?'
'She's doing well. Wriggly. I'll be glad when the pregnancy's over, honestly. How about yours?'
'Oh, yours is a girl too. Yes, everything is fine here as well.'
'Three girls. You're going to be very outnumbered.'
'I must be incapable of having boys! The opposite to Papa.'
'So... I'm seven months gone now. You look to be about the same...?'
'That's right. My due date is in September. Close to my own birthday, actually.'
'Oh, that's nice. An extra present for you.'
'Yes, I am lucky. My first child. Is this your first too?'
'Yes, that's right. So, am I right in thinking you asked for this meeting for us to get to know each other?'
'Exactly. It would be good for our children to be able to see each other and become friends. If we know each other, we would be able to arrange things even when Nari is in Italy.'
'That does make sense. Although I will come over as much as possible!'
'Yeah, that's a good idea. Although, I'm not very local to Sunset Valley; I came over to accompany Nari to a wedding.'
'While you scared a couple of people, by the looks of it.'
'I actually live in Midnight Hollow.'
'Some of my friends were at that wedding. Hmm... that is a distance away. But doable.'
'It was a very... interesting event, let's say that. There were a few other supernaturals there, which I didn't expect, given how uncommon we seem to be here. Granted, we're not that common in Midnight Hollow, or at least, ones that aren't part of my family since we make up a village all by ourselves, but it's a town of oddities anyway, so we still fit in.'
'Oh, it's very human here. I notice every time I'm here. I'm from Bridgeport, which obviously has its vampire scene. But supernaturals are uncommon in Sunset Valley.'
'So you're probably familiar with the odd looks and whispers, too?'
'Definitely. I'm a foster parent, and I've had all kinds of kids who look nothing like me, as well. You will probably get some of the same as a parent to a werewolf child, Nari.'
'I hadn't thought of that.'
'It's likely there'll be some resemblance to you, though, despite the lycanthropy.'
'What else should I expect from a werewolf child?'
'Nips, scratching, general doggy behaviour, at least until about... five years old. And... I mean a lot of doggy behaviour. Like, beware of the sandpit type stuff.'
'...You mean, like, shitting in it?'
'...Yeah, exactly that. My mum takes bags and a scoop out when walking the little ones, just in case.'
'Oh my God. That is... very awkward.'
'Oh yeah, it's wild. Though since I'm having one, at least that means we're spared things like play fights getting out of hand, or wrestling over toys and so on.'
'I suppose that depends how she gets along with her sister.'
'Good point. Either way, it can't be overly difficult in comparison to a human baby - my parents have had twenty.'
'Twenty?’
'Twenty biological kids, or are some adopted?'
'All biological. Nineteen full siblings. I think my parents are slightly crazy.'
'Wow. I've fostered more than that over my time, but I couldn't imagine having that many children myself.'
'Imagine if your family met mine.'
'Oh yeah, it'd be absolute madness. I think they've finally decided to stop, though. But like I said earlier, we make up an entire town by ourselves.'
'They could end up with so many grandchildren. Which number child were you?'
'Number six. And yeah, they're likely to be drowning in grandkids. My oldest brother already has a couple, plus with me being pregnant too, and one of my other brothers I'll be surprised if he doesn't marry and have kids with his current girlfriend. Another brother might adopt, he's good with kids.'
'It sounds like your baby will be part of a big, happy family.'
'Mostly. There's a lot of sibling bickering, obviously, especially when my oldest sister decides to wind up one of the others. In her forties, and about as mature as the teens sometimes.'
'Ah, but sibling bickering is normal. There's enough of it in my family!'
'You and your twin mostly, I'm going to guess?'
'Yes, but Genaro isn't innocent either!'
'So what about you, have you got any siblings?'
'I have a sister, Ariadna. Childfree, so I will be the only one to have a child. But she might still babysit sometimes.'
'Ahhh, that's nice. Is she local?'
'Yes, she also lives here. Not with me, but close by. Oh, shall we trade numbers while I remember?'
'Yeah, that sounds like a good idea.'
'Great.'
'Okay, I'll send you a text now you're in my contacts.'
'Thank you, Julianna. This will make things easier.'
'Abraxas! I - I think it's time to go! My waters just broke!'
'Shit. Alright. Let me go and put some clothes on.'
*Slip*
*THUMP*
'...Oh my God.'
'We cannot have any more children, this is fucking disgusting.'
'Maybe you should stop rolling around in it and help me to the hospital!'
'Alright, alright. Do you think we have enough time for me to have another quick bath first?'
'ABRAXAS!'
'Okay! I was just asking, Christ!'

That was a good chapter, Bloo ^^
I'm glad the meeting went well between Nari's girlfriends ^^
And I couldn't help but laugh at the chapter's end XD
I'm curious to see what the babies will look like, if we ever see them ^^

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed. :D
And good, I had a fun time shooting the last scene as well. Hilariously, on multiple occasions Annalise started cheering.

Not at present, but I probably ought to think on it. One of them of course was the one I posted of him younger. But I'm thinking at least frosted tips at some point.
Well, I'm back. Things hopefully should be more frequent now. Back to current updates!
‘Okay, I know it’s not been long since we last had a conversation like this - well, some of you lot did anyway, I wasn’t there - but… We need an actual plan now. I don’t think we have any more time to do nothing.’
‘What’s happened? I’m guessin’ it ain’t just Tate, since you invited me and Nyla too.’
‘...He and Austin working together wasn’t a one off. Tate sent Austin over to Jude’s house last night, to try to hurt him over the meteor.’
‘And unfortunately, going the legal route isn’t going to help us here, given Tate’s involvement. How are we supposed to get him done for arranging a beating when information about his crimes conveniently disappear? But this is fucking ridiculous.’
‘That, and other than what I saw, there’s no hard evidence, yet again.’
‘What did you see, Ellis?’
‘I got there, and Austin and Blake were trying to get into the house.’
‘Blake was there too?’
‘Yeah, which I find weird, because he doesn’t usually get his hands dirty. But it turns out the gang has some kind of longstanding agreement with Tate.’
‘Whoa, what the fuck? How’d I never hear about this before?’
‘Yeah, don’t you know all of the shady dealings going on in Sunset Valley?’
‘Obviously not all of ‘em. Man, I’ve become outta the loop.’
‘Well, let’s be honest, to know all of the dodgy deals going on in this town, you’d need to have access to all the information in City Hall.’
‘I think Blake wasn’t meant to be the one to go, originally. Seth said Austin asked E- someone else first. But it was definitely Tate who arranged it, and it was definitely over the meteor.’
‘Honestly, right now, I just want ideas. I want to find Austin and teach him a lesson.’
‘Sounds good to me, I’m in-’
‘You’re banned from violence.’
‘I’m not really sure that starting a fight with the local gang is a good idea, but then again when our hands are tied like this, what else can we do? ...I feel a little powerless, honestly. It’s not something I enjoy.’
‘Me neither, but if I can’t do something to protect my child, when will I? Some thug was going to hurt my son. I never thought I’d be in favour of police brutality, but fuck.’
‘That asshole’s got away with no consequences for too long. He’s been violent to three different women that we know of, two of ‘em in this room.’
‘...I can look the other way if any of you decide to teach him a lesson.’
‘I ain’t usually the violent type, but if Ellis wants a hand…’
‘...No. I don’t think you should.’
‘C’mon Nyla, he deserves it.’
‘I know what he deserves, and I can’t stop any of the rest of you, but… I just don’t want Stan to be the one to do it. My current boyfriend beating up my ex? That’s not my idea of justice. I hate violence.’
‘Well, your wishes come first. I don’t wanna do nothin’ to upset you.’
‘Thank you.’
‘But if I can’t, and Stan can’t, who can?’
‘I’m guessin’ my family’s prolly out too... Though speakin’ of them, I didn’t actually get to tell you all. Apparently, they cornered Tate at the weddin’, while he was in the toilets.’
‘Oh good. I hope he had an accident.’
‘Does that mean they got to see his-’
‘Ugh. I don’t want to know, I’ll just take pleasure in imagining him in pain.’
‘Jesus Christ. I know, I’m not related to him but damn, it was horrifying enough seeing Abraxas’, let alone imagining that too.’
‘Do you think Hazel would be up for helping beat up Austin?’
‘No offence, love, but the last time she got involved, it didn’t end very well.’
‘Would she even want to get involved? She’s got a personal vendetta against Tate, but not Austin and Blake.’
‘I don’t know. It’d have to be because of the connection with Grandad.’
‘If it’s to protect her dear cousin, then maybe she’d be fine with it. God knows she needs to do something good.’
‘To be fair, she has made strides.’
‘Better late than never, I suppose.’
‘I just feel like encouraging her to be violent would be playing into Miles’ hands.’
‘I know… I just don’t have any other suggestions right now.’
‘I don’t think we’re going to come up with a satisfying plan of action right now, unfortunately. So perhaps we ought to take some time to give it a proper think over, look at the problem from all angles, and come back in a few days. Because Edward’s right, we don’t want to play into his hands, but none of the rest of us have anything else better in mind either. I don’t think this is something we can sit around and brainstorm together and immediately come up with a solution.’
‘Yeah, you’re right. The one thing we all agree on is that something needs to be done about those two. Tate goes without saying, but I haven’t forgot what Austin did to my mum. She’s not a nice person, but she didn’t deserve that.’
‘We’re not letting either one go unpunished, I swear. At the very least, we need to make sure Charon and Jude are safe up until they leave, and it ought to be easier after that.’
‘I just want to apologise for all the trouble Austin’s causing now.’
‘Hey, it’s not your fault.’
‘Exactly, he’s his own person with his own mind, admittedly a rather weak and feeble one. But regardless, what he does is no more your fault than Tate’s continued cuntery is Roxxi’s fault.’
‘Besides, him being involved is only a coincidence. You didn’t bring him to Sunset Valley. It was just an unfortunate thing.’
‘I just wonder, if I’d reported him years ago…’
‘You weren’t obligated to report him, though. It’s a fucking traumatic experience to go through. Nyla, you’re not the one who’s done anything wrong here. It’s Austin, Blake, and that overgrown sack of spam in City Hall. Not you.’
‘Can I ask, who is Blake?’
‘Blake McIntyre. He’s the gang’s boss.’
‘He’s an asshole too, but he ain’t really the one we’re dealin’ with.’
‘What does the rest of the gang think about this, anyway? Presumably they don’t know?’
‘Well, Seth was horrified when he found out ‘bout some of the things Tate’s done.’
‘And he was the one to raise the alarm last night. But I can’t speak for anyone else.’
‘Out of the good people I know, none of ‘em would be alright with any of the shit Austin and Tate have done.’
‘I wasn’t sure if name-dropping was a good idea, but… Eli was the one Austin asked to help first, and he refused to help beat up Charon.’
‘Well, name dropping doesn’t mean anything to me, because I don’t actually know which one that is. Strangely enough, I’m not on conversational terms with any of the gang when I do end up passing them on patrol.’
‘Elias Crain?’
‘That’s right.’
‘Whoa, he was in my year. ...I can’t say I’m that shocked he ended up in a gang, though.’
‘Why, did he get into trouble a lot at school as well?’
‘Yeah, he did. Honestly, he made me look a model student. One time, he broke his coccyx from cannonballing into a puddle.’
‘That sounds like him alright.’
‘...What in the actual fuck?’
‘Then once, he swung on an overhead pipe and broke it.’
‘Every year has that kid, doesn’t it?’
‘...Well, he sounds like a gentleman and a scholar. ...Was it a school pipe?’
‘It sure was.’
‘That’s… impressively stupid.’

You're welcome Bloo ^^
Ha ha, maybe she enjoyed seeing Abraxas getting a bit of karma XD
And it's good to see you back, Nat ^^
Oh, here's a reunion from the "good guys" team :D
It sure isn't an easy situation to deal with, they're right to think it's better to take a few day to try and analyse everything they can before coming up with a plan against the gang - and probably Tate later, since he's soaked to the neck in it :o

It sure isn't an easy situation to deal with, they're right to think it's better to take a few day to try and analyse everything they can before coming up with a plan against the gang - and probably Tate later, since he's soaked to the neck in it :o

Oh my gosh, poor Annalise! When Abraxas slipped and fell, though... For a second I hoped he had broken his neck. I can't have been the only one?
I also can't wait to see what unpleasant stuff will happen to Tate next. I enjoy seeing you two torturing him and Abraxas even more than I enjoy seeing Theraven torment the Brooks and... That came out wrong.

Thanks, I'll try to stick to it
It's a difficult situation for sure. Team "good guys" are mostly too nice to want to get stuck into violence, and even those who would (looking at you Aria) can't get involved this time.

Definitely not, wanting to see Abraxas die is the most understandable thing ever.
I'm on it Well, it's coming together, anyway. Today, we are getting blood, violence and punishment... but not to the bald one himself.
‘Something the matter?’
‘It’s from the boss. He’s calling us for a meeting.’
‘Oh, okay. I wonder what that’s about then, perhaps something serious has happened.’
‘Yeah… I feel like it might be about last night. If it is… well, it ain’t good.’
‘...Should I ask? Something to do with the job Austin wanted Eli’s assistance with?’
‘Yeah. Because Eli warned me, and I put a stop to it.’
‘I can’t deny being glad about that, to be honest. I was trying not to eavesdrop, but, well, they were right there.’
‘I don’t blame you. Austin was obviously happy to say it in front of everyone. Are you coming too?’
‘May as well at least stick my head in to see what it is about, in case your hunch is incorrect. I’m meant to be meeting Billie later as well, too.’
‘Good shit.’
‘Alright, Boss?’
‘Was just waiting on you.’
‘So what’s the problem?’
‘Seems we’ve got an issue. An issue of information leaking where it shouldn’t. You happen to know anything about that, Masters?’
‘What kind of information?’
‘So, here’s the thing. We’ve got our little arrangement going on with the mayor, right? And a while back, Austin here used it for the purpose of getting some details on someone. Yet the other day, the mayor suddenly got some blowback from some people closer to the situation. Well, I say some people, I mean more the Monte Vista Mafia. Funny, right?’
‘…Yeah.’
‘Except it’s not really funny, is it? He’s quite rightfully pissed off with us. Details like that shouldn’t be getting out. How’d they find out the mayor’s part in it? Austin tells me only one other person heard about the conversation, and that person… was you, Seth.’
‘Right.’
‘You wanna explain that one to me?’
‘Okay, fine. I admit it. I spilled.’
‘And why the fuck would you do that?’
‘Because Austin here got his ex’s address, and went over to her place trying to start shit. Fortunately, Stan’s her boyfriend, and he asked me for help. So I went and found out who gave out the address, and told him. I did it because Stan’s my friend, and because I don’t fucking like woman beaters.’
‘That’s none of your fucking business-!’
‘I don’t give a shit what happened between Austin and Nyla. I do give a shit that what you did has jeopardised our agreement. No surprise the mayor might not want to help us out any more if he’s gonna get the fucking Mafia on his back over it. You get me, don’t you?’
‘From what I hear, the mayor’s a piece of shit himself.’
‘Didn’t I make it clear the first time? It’s nothing to fucking do with us! Considering some of the shit you’ve pulled, Masters, I don’t think you’re in any position to judge anyone else!’
‘No, I have a line I won’t cross, and that’s hurting your own family. I ain’t ever done shit like that. I don’t give a fuck what else I’ve done, I’d never beat my girlfriend or go after my own family!’
‘Well, good for you. Except I’m the boss, I decide who we work with, and none of that shit is my priority. All I know is you’ve betrayed my loyalty for the sake of someone who isn’t one of us any more.’
‘…I’m sorry. I never wanted to betray you, Boss. But that shit’s important to me. I get it, what I care about doesn’t matter in comparison to us as a whole. I just didn’t wanna stand aside and turn a blind eye to it.’
‘After twelve years, I thought you got that. Well, you do get it, don’t you? You just don’t care enough about it. You put your own self, your own morals above us. And I can’t have that.’
‘For real. You’re in the wrong fucking line of work if you care about morals.’
‘And actually, that’s not all of it. There’s more. Because Austin and I went to try to put things right, last night. We were trying to do another job the mayor gave us. We were gonna rough up his grandson. Yet when we got there, they were expecting us. They’d been warned in time.’
‘If anyone knows anything about that, it’s Penelope, Billie, Cole and Eli. They were the ones there when I asked for help.’
‘W-Well don’t look at me, I’ve got the fight club to assist with, and nothing more. I was pointedly trying not to listen in to their conversation. I was just talking to Billie…’
‘I didn’t say shit either!’
‘Me neither, Boss, I weren’t involved at all.’
‘And Eli?’
‘I ain’t do dick, boss dude, I just said I weren’t gonna join in on this particular job.’
‘So why were they expecting us?’
‘We weren’t there five minutes before that copper showed up. The mayor’s son. The alien’s dad. He knew.’
‘I dunno, Boss, maybe he was just goin’ to pick up his kid?’
‘Bit convenient to me.’
‘...Look, that was me too. I warned them.’
‘Who warned you? You wasn’t there.’
‘I was. You just didn’t see me.’
‘What the fuck? Bullshit, I’d have seen you, anywhere else and you’d have been too far away to hear!’
‘Yeah, I was, behind the desk bit. You’ve got a voice like a fucking foghorn mate, I heard every word.’
‘So what we doin’ now? Givin’ the job another try? Once the snitch’s been dealt with, anyway.’
‘Shut the fuck up. Jude’s one of mine, I was protecting my crew.’
‘And that’s real fuckin’ noble, but it don’t change shit among us, does it?’
‘I don’t know. That pig’s onto us now.’
‘We can’t do shit with the cops sniffin’ round, and they prob’ly gonna be keepin’ an eye out now right? Maybe we oughta tell the mayor we can’t do it. I dunno.’
‘Might have to. But I’m not looking forward to it.’
‘So that’s twice you’ve gone against our interests. I didn’t expect it of you. I thought you knew better.’
‘So what’s going to happen to Seth now?’
‘Well, he’s not getting away with it.’
‘But twelve years have to count for something, right?’
‘That’s the only reason I’m not putting him in a fucking body bag. But I’ve gotta make an example of him. I can’t let traitors get away scot free.’
‘That’s fine. I was expecting that.’
‘You’re no longer a lieutenant. I’ll let you keep the fight club, but only because I don’t think anyone else would be better. You know what else, right?’
‘...Yeah. I do.’
‘You got this handled boss, or you want help?’
‘Sure. I don’t mind an extra pair of hands.’
‘Go on then. Get it over with.’
‘Stay back, girl.’
‘Believe me, I am not moving from this spot except maybe to retreat further.’
‘Oh no…’
...
...
...
‘...Alright to take him off to get cleaned up now?’
‘Yeah, I reckon that’ll do.’
‘Oh, and next time you’re asked to do a job for the mayor? You fucking do it.’
‘Oh yeah, sure thing boss dude. I ain’t normally gonna say no, I just figure in the circumstances, goin’ solo woulda give Austin’s rep a well needed shot in the ass after gettin’ beat by a girl before, y’know? Chance to prove himself wi’out backup, s’all.’
‘You shut your fucking mouth!’
‘He’s got a point. You fucked up too, don’t forget.’
‘Anyway, that’s it. He’s all yours.’
‘Gotcha.’
‘I’ll help.’
‘Sure thing, girl, ‘nother pair of hands ain’t gonna hurt.’
‘Me too.’
‘Here we go. Fuckin’ A, dude.’
‘I’m sorry. I was fucking useless.’
‘Nah, you did the right thing. I didn’t want any of you caught up in that.’
‘’Splains why you covered my ass over warnin’ you. Weren’t expectin’ that, I fuckin’ owe you one, yo.’
‘You did me a favour. I didn’t wanna land you in the shit too. No point us both getting it.’
‘Yeah, well still. I owe you a drink.’
‘Do you feel like anything’s broken? Because we should take you to the hospital, if so…’
‘Don’t think so. God. At least I’ve got all my teeth.’
‘That was fucking awful.’
‘An’ fuck Tracy an’ all, fuckin’ brown nosin’ cunt. Absolute prick, he is.’
‘For real! Just tryin’ to suck his dick ‘cos Austin’s not in Blake’s good books any more.’
‘Dude’s a fuckin’ sycophant. Ain’t enough that he’s a lieutenant, the motherfucker’s prob’ly tryna brown nose his way up into bein’ co-boss or some shit.’
‘You could probably do with a plaster or two, if there’s any here…?’
‘I’m not five, Pen. I’ll be alright.’
‘You got the shit kicked out of you! You don’t have to be tough now, you know. It’s okay to need cleaning up.’
‘Gotta try to keep some dignity after that.’
‘It’s not like any of us are judging you… not for doing the right thing.’
‘Yeah, you stood up for Nyla and Jude. You totally did the right thing! You’ve got more loyalty and integrity than any of ‘em!’
‘It doesn’t matter now.’
‘C’mon man, you still got our respect. An’ the others? Fuck ‘em, who fuckin’ cares. Austin’s a little assmad baby, Blake’s a fuckin’ asshole, an’ Tracy needs to be drowned in a Goddamn toilet. Fuck ‘em all.’
‘You might respect me, but how many more people will after that? What a fucking mess.’
‘Anyone worthwhile will. You stopped a pair of kids gettin’ beat shitless. Anyone who got a problem with that ain’t fuckin’ worth botherin’ with.’
‘We got you, man.’
‘Well, thanks for helping me out, anyway.’

That was a good chapter ^^
It's good things didn't get worse than I expected for Seth, but he did get beaten :/
He did the right thing by warning the others when needed ^^

Yeah, when I read "blood and punishment, but not for Tate," I was thinking that I wouldn't mind seeing Austin getting his ass handed to him, either. I wasn't expecting that it would be Seth getting thrashed. Thankfully, he looks like such a unit, he's probably physically mostly fine. I think it's time the rest of the gang revolted against Blake.

Not at all, and an embarrassing death would be quite fitting for him as well. Imagine him talking to others in hell about it.
'So how did you die?'
'...I slipped in a puddle of my wife's amniotic fluid and broke my neck.'
One easy way to becoming a laughing stock in the afterlife.

I agree. I figured for what he did, he had to at least get a beating, since it's Blake. I felt so bad about it, though.

Fortunately, he's a tough guy, but who knows how much of it is bravado? The gang is definitely split in terms of how they feel about it (there are more members than I had in that meeting and haven't been shown yet).
‘Thanks for coming round.’
‘It’s okay. So what happened with the job?’
‘I’m afraid we’ve got bad news, Mr Mayor.’
‘That isn’t what I wanted to hear. What is it?’
‘…The job was a bust. We couldn’t get to your grandson.’
‘What? Why not?’
‘We went over there to do it, but it turns out someone overheard and tipped Charon and his girlfriend off first. They were expecting us and unfortunately, raised the alarm. Your son turned up as we were still getting in.’
‘What the hell? Who tipped them off?’
‘Someone with other interests. Austin was looking for someone to help him, so this person ended up overhearing. I promise you, they’ve been dealt with.’
‘I should think so! Now what, then? Are you telling me you can’t do it?’
‘Now that your son knows about it… I think it’s too risky. Unless you use any of your pull with the cops to help us out.’
‘After failing me again, do you really think I’d be inclined to do that?! So first you get me beat up by the Mafia, and now you’ve blown a job I asked you to do? What the hell are you playing at?’
‘I’m sorry, Mr Mayor. I know I fucked up! I trusted the wrong person. I had every intention of doing the job.’
‘I can’t believe you have the nerve to bring me here and give me that news after promising you’d make up for before!’
‘I swear, it’ll be the last time!’
‘You have our word, Mr Mayor.’
‘I’m questioning how much your word actually means right now, Mr McIntyre.’
‘Up until now, there haven’t been any problems. Give us a chance to put it right.’
‘So what are you going to do to make it up to me? You’re on thin ice, both of you.’
‘I can talk to Suzie, get you set up with some of her girls.’
‘That would be a start. How do I know this obvious hole in your security won’t be exposed again?’
‘Like I said, I dealt with the traitor. He won’t be causing any more problems for any of us. I’ll work on making it up to you.’
‘Good. Don’t let me down again.’
‘We won’t.’
‘I’ll be going, then.’
‘Alright, I’ll see you later.’
‘What a fucking disaster.’
‘Boss, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to cause any of this shit.’
‘Yeah, I know. Forget it.’
‘Is there anything you want me to do?’
‘No, I’ll handle it. Just wait for now, see if he asks you for anything else.’
‘Right.’
Elsewhere...
‘Holy shit. What happened to you?’
‘Y’know, Stan, when I agreed to do some spying for you, I was doing it under the assumption you weren’t fucking stupid enough to go telling people about it.’
‘What? What do you mean?’
‘I at least expected it wouldn’t get back to the mayor himself.’
‘How’d that happen?’
‘You told your family. Who then went and cornered him at this bullshit fucking wedding you went to, and told him they knew about his part in selling addresses on. Without any consideration to the person who got you that information in the first place!’
‘Oh, fuck… I’m sorry man, that was my fault. I didn’t tell ‘em to not mention it. But I didn’t know they were gonna start shit at the weddin’! Not ‘til after they already did it!’
‘Yeah, I hadn’t even known they knew about what happened with Nyla.’
‘I told ‘em what’d happened, but I didn’t tell ‘em to corner Tate. I figured they’d just intimidate him by bein’ there. I didn’t realise I’d need to tell ‘em to protect you. I’m sorry, Seth.’
‘It was obvious the information came from me. All Tate had to do was ask Austin who he’d told. And I was the only one. They think I’m a fucking traitor, him and Blake.’
‘Blake did this to you?’
‘Yeah, and I’m lucky that’s all it was, but that’s twelve years of goodwill down the fucking drain. I did you a favour, Stan. I had a good feeling the address came from Tate but I wanted to be sure, and I wanted to do the right thing. And now look.’
‘I’m so sorry, man.’
‘I’ve gotta avoid you from now on. They think you’re the enemy now. I can’t be seen with you.’
‘Stan’s the enemy? Does that mean he’s at risk?’
‘No, they know better than to piss off the Gallos. But I’ve gotta look out for myself now, see if I can salvage any of my reputation.’
‘Ain’t there anythin’ I can do?’
‘No. Just leave it. And don’t ask me for any more fucking favours.’
‘Oh, fuck me.’
‘That’s how Blake doles out punishment, huh?’
‘Oh, yeah… But I never thought I’d see it happen to Seth. God, I’m so stupid! I shoulda realised!’
‘What are we gonna do?’
‘I’ll have to tell the Gallos. Obviously it don’t matter now, but… well, they oughta know.’
‘You think Seth might cool down?’
‘Maybe if I apologised properly, but he ain’t gonna want me goin’ over if he’s avoidin’ me from now on.’
‘Yeah… Well, I’d say give it a bit of time and see if there’s any way you can see him again without Blake and his cronies finding out.’
‘You’re right. I don’t wanna make him even madder at me. He can be pretty scary sometimes.’
‘You’ve known each other forever though, right? I’m sure he’ll forgive you, eventually.’
‘I hope so, man.’

So, since there's several Brits hanging around here, I'm wondering: who has familiarity with The Vicar of Dibley? Because, fun fact, while I was AFK with my housemate earlier, we rewatched an episode and oh my God guys. It's basically got Richard and Quinn as characters.
There's David Horton, obscenely rich, lives in a suit, arrogant and rude (albeit with a tendency to be nice every once in a blue moon), thinks he knows best, yadda yadda yadda. You get the idea.
And then there's his son, Hugo. Middle aged, still lives with him, socially awkward, nervous and stammery, can just about stand up to his dad (though it's clearly difficult), a bit... well, dim, and ends up marrying a woman David can't stand.
Sound familiar? :v
Sorry about the shite quality, this was the best example I could find. It suddenly hit me while I was watching earlier, "holy shit Nat accidentally made the Hortons".
Bawwwww

Yeah, it was obvious there would be sanction if someone spoke -_-'
I enjoyed that chapter :D
Ouch, that mess will have to be fixed before Seth and Stan's friendship's rekindled I guess, if they're friendship's really broken :/
Oh, look like they'll be using 'honeypots', huh :o
That's an interesting tidbit, Bloo :D
And yeah, Tat's a toddler with a temper tantrum XD

Thanks It's an awkward situation. Stan made a mistake but I think Seth would forgive him in the end; he's just worried about the consequences of being openly friends with him. It'll be hard to shake off the traitor label.
Also, it's pride month and I finally got round to doing something. Not everyone was able to be included last time (nor this time either) but I've snuck some more people in this time - and a few repeats, since that's what happens when you're still a bit low in some areas of representation! That and I really wanted to have the band together.
Happy pride, my friends.

Thanks! And yes, do it. Or have the others show up more. Give us the Phillip/Davion OTP.
‘What’s the latest from Sunset Valley?’
‘Same old, for me, but I’m afraid I’m probably out of the loop. I know Logan was playing for a wedding last week.’
‘A wedding, huh? I should ask them about that…’
‘What about you, anyway? How are you doing?’
‘I can’t lie, Maria. I’m struggling more than I thought I would. I thought once I got away, things would be much easier. Well, they are, but I’m not getting better as quick as I hoped.’
‘You’ve been through a trauma. These things take some time to heal. You were together for seventeen years. That’s a really long time.’
‘I just feel so guilty. I stayed all that time because I was scared of what would happen if I left, and in a way I was right to be. It’s really, really hard. Starting a whole new life here, and settling in. But because I stayed, I exposed the kids to all kinds of pain, and now I’ve messed them up.’
‘You didn’t mess them up, honey. Tate did that.’
‘Carmella is terrified of men now. She’s my little girl, and I didn’t protect her. I could have done so much more! You can’t defend me here. It’s not even the worst for her. Zeus got hit in the face and Tristan had his eye cut out because of me!’
‘Okay, no, you can’t seriously blame yourself for what happened to Tristan? Tate having this… feud with a psychopath happened long before you came along, didn’t it? That was nothing to do with you! Miles attacked Tristan when you were in the process of leaving. You were already trying to get out of there at that point. Same with Zeus, same with Carmella and the marriage.’
‘I knew for years myself that Tate emotionally abused his other children and killed his wife.’
‘But he didn’t abuse yours for a long time. Only later on, once you were already in the process of leaving. There’s the favouritism, but the biggest example of that happened on the kids’ sixteenth birthday. It’s not like you stood back and watched him treat them like shit. You made that decision to leave when you had to, even under fear of being killed yourself. You did that knowing it’d be difficult, and you moved to a whole new country where you have no friends. You abandoned everything in Sunset Valley in order to keep your children safe.’
‘But I’m too fucking late! The damage is done! To all of us!’
‘And you’re all healing, slowly. Your kids are going to go to university and have a great time. Tristan has a girlfriend, Zeus has a boyfriend, and Carmella will date when she’s ready. Sweetheart, I know how much they love you. None of them blame you at all. I talk to Tristan all the time at work, and he never has a bad word for you. Baby, I’m really worried about you. It must be killing you to hate yourself this much.’
‘I’ve just made mistake after mistake.’
‘Is the therapy helping?’
‘Yeah, it is…’
‘And the medication?’
‘I’m not sure… I don’t think so. I don’t feel as good as I could, that’s for sure.’
‘You should go back and tell the doctor. You might need a stronger dose.’
‘You’re right, I should.’
‘Please tell the therapist all this. You can’t live with so much guilt. I just wish I was there in person.’
‘I miss you a lot… But you don’t need this. I’m scared for us, Maria…’
‘Why?’
‘Because this distance is really tough. Because I’m not in a good place to be a good partner right now. Because you came along when I was already broken, and you do nothing but support me, and I don’t really give it back. You’re in a long-distance relationship with a miserable woman, and I just think, you could be spending your time with someone else who you can actually see in person, someone fun. You’d think dating a porn star would be a lot more fun than this.’
‘Oh, Roxxi… You know it was never about dating a porn star, right? That never even came into it.’
‘I know. It was just a shit joke.’
‘I liked you because you were cute and funny. When we got to spend time together, when you got to unwind a bit, I saw the real you. And we can relate to each other, both former teen mums. I don’t want anyone else. I’ve been out of the dating game for a long time. I wouldn’t even know where to start to find someone like you.’
‘The point would be to find someone not like me.’
‘Well, someone not like you would be wrong for me. You don’t mind the fact that I’m a grandma, and you don’t want any extra kids. Are you really worried about us two together, Roxxi…?’
‘It hasn’t been a conventional relationship at all… I feel bad that we started out as an affair, because you deserved better than that. I wish we’d met under different circumstances. I start worrying when I think about that. I wish you were here. I’d try to be a better girlfriend. Well, I will anyway, but it’d be easier.’
‘I don’t think you’re a bad girlfriend at all. But you’re right, if we were together in person, it’d be better.’
‘I know I just got out of the wife role, but I’d still be happy to do most of the stuff around the home. And of course I’d contribute financially, too.’
‘You want to live together?’
‘Yeah… one day.’
‘That’d be nice. We should probably take it step by step, though. Your kids don’t even know about us yet.’
‘Yeah, you’re right. I should tell them. I didn’t want to put it on them too soon, but…’
‘No, it’s a valid concern. It would’ve been wrong to rush it. You tell them whenever you feel comfortable.’
‘Yep, I will. You can tell Logan, though, I think he’s more than old enough to understand. If he doesn’t find it too weird…’
‘I… guess that’d mean he and Raya share a stepmum? Oh.’
‘I hadn’t considered that…’
‘Me neither. But still. If you’re really serious about us, I am, too. We won’t be long distance forever. We’ll find a way to be together properly. That’s what you want, isn’t it?’
‘Yeah, it is. I’d be even worse without you. I’d do my best for you. That doesn’t sound too desperate, does it?’
‘No, honey, but you don’t need to worry about us. I know you’d do your best. You don’t need to prove yourself to me. Just keep on looking after yourself. Talk to the doctor and the therapist, and keep talking to me. I’m really proud of you.’
‘I’m glad you believe in me… I just hope I don’t let you down.’
‘You won’t.’
‘Hey, how are you doing?’
‘Not great. To be honest, Landon, I ain’t gonna be good company. Sorry, but I don’t think I can do much for you today.’
‘I’m not expecting you to be good company or do anything for me. I’m just concerned, that’s all.’
‘I’ve had worse hits than this. I’m used to taking beatings; it ain’t a big deal.’
‘Look, I know you’re tough. But it’s not about that. I wanted to be emotional support.’
‘…I ain’t good at accepting that.’
‘We don’t have to talk about what happened, unless you want to. But you probably shouldn’t be on your own right now. Not when you feel so shit.’
‘Alright.’
‘…Can I kiss you?’
‘Yeah, sure.’
‘…You won’t tell anyone if I do open up to you, will you?’
‘No, of course not. I’ve told you before, Seth. What happens between us stays that way. As much as you want it to, anyway…’
‘You know it’s hard for me to talk about myself.’
‘Yeah, I do. And you know that no amount of vulnerability will make me respect you less. You don’t have to worry about keeping up an image to impress me… because you always do.’
‘…I’m mostly upset about losing Lieutenanthood and the Boss’ respect. Not ‘cos I like him or give a shit about his opinions, but it put me in a good position. I ain’t got much else.’
‘I don’t think you’ll lose everyone else’s respect overnight, though. There’s people who agree with you and think you did the right thing… They just wouldn’t admit it in front of Blake and his loyalists.’
‘Yeah, maybe. I think I’m gonna have to prove myself though. I might start booking myself onto the card again. I chose to accept a beating, but that doesn’t mean I can’t fucking fight.’
‘If that’s what you want, why not.’
‘I’m gonna have to meet with Roza too, tell her I’ll have to see her less. Be more discreet. Now I’ve been branded a traitor, if I’m seen with her…’
‘Shit, yeah, that could be bad.’
‘I just can’t wait for when this shit’s over.’
*knock knock*
‘You’re popular today.’
‘Hey.’
‘Oh God! What happened?’
‘Come in, don’t just hang around.’
‘Who did that?’
‘Blake and Tracy. I’ve been punished.’
‘Because of me?’
‘Nah, they found out about me giving info to Stan. Something about the Gallos attacking the mayor in the toilet.’
‘I heard about that! We all had a bit of a brainstorm. Charon’s dad called us around to talk about the failed plan.’
‘Who’s “us”?’
‘Charon, Aria, Nyla and Stanley, Mr Farrington and his girlfriend… We were talking about what to do next.’
‘Was anything decided?’
‘Well, Charon’s dad still wants to get back at Austin. Can’t blame him. But we didn’t decide on what to do. What do you think?’
‘It ain’t anything to do with me, Jude. They’ve already labelled me a snitch. So I’m better off staying out of any plans against one of us.’
‘Oh, sorry… Man, I’m sorry about what Blake did to you. It looks nasty.’
‘It’s alright. When I found out Austin hit you and he used to beat Nyla, I had to do what I did. I was stupid and I wasn’t careful enough, but it was the right thing to do. Just now I gotta pick up the pieces, but I won’t stand in the way if one of your lot wants to get back at him.’
‘Well, thanks. I don’t know how I can ever repay you for this.’
‘You don’t need to.’
‘We’re just happy you’re okay.’
‘Exactly. I’d rather it be me get beat up than you or Charon.’
‘Aww… Was I disturbing you by turning up? I know I didn’t call ahead.’
‘No, I haven’t been here long. I came over to cheer him up.’
‘At least he’s got you to check in on him.’
‘Yeah, when he’ll let me!’

That was a nice chapter as usual :D
It's good Roxxi and Seth get some support ^^
I'm curious to see what plan they'll manage to get, it's not an easy situation ^^

Nah, you're just showing off their staying power. Gay and here to stay, eh? You've got only four days left to get them dressed up and in front of the camera, though!

Yeah, I definitely want to get some ways to incorporate the neglected characters some more, especially the people still in Devil's Port that aren't The Almighty Jaw himself.
As for Phillip/Davion, who knows :v neither of them are straight...!

Very true! And aw shit, you're right, I'd better see what I can do.
'I'm pretty much ready. Just need to put on some sandals.'
'Oh, great.'
'Um, you look lovely...'
'Oh, thanks... I considered a one piece, but fuck it, it's hot. Bikini it is.'
'It is boiling hot today. Did you put sun cream on yet?'
'Oh, shit. Good point, no I haven't. Thanks for reminding me. I'll put some on when we're at the beach.'
'Good. You wouldn't want to burn in this.'
'God, definitely not. I'm not used to this kind of weather. I mean, sure it's sunny in Sunset Valley, but Devil's Port is nothing but overcast skies and rain.'
'It must be nice to get away to somewhere like here, then.'
'Yeah, definitely. D'you know, this is the first actual holiday I've ever had? It's nice, but fucking weird.'
'Really? Abraxas never took you on holiday?'
'Nope. Still, it's hardly surprising though, is it?'
'I suppose not. Well, we should start going on more... Taking the girls as well, of course.'
'Yeah, that sounds good to me. Especially if at a time when Wed's not too busy with her uni stuff.'
'That would be nice. Sorry... I hope I didn't upset you.'
'Nah, it's fine. Sometimes the conversation turns to him, it's inevitable.'
'Okay, if you're sure...'
'...What's up? Bringing up Abraxas really isn't that big of a deal to me, y'know.'
'Well, it's not just that, but... I don't want to ruin things.'
'I don't understand.'
'...Do you think I'm creepy?'
'No. Trust me, I don't get into the habit of kissing guys I'm creeped out by.'
'I suppose that's a good point. I just still have a lot of regrets about the situation... Not about you, but you know.'
'About the whole Carmella part of it. I know we've touched on the topic before, but you've never actually told me the entire story from your perspective. I've heard it from her's, so what about yours?'
'Well... I should probably start with Mother's death. Father and I both took it very hard. I was only seventeen, and it sort of derailed my life... Both of our lives.'
'Yeah, that's understandable. Been through bereavement myself, I get it. It's a fucking bitch.'
'Right. So I never went to university, I've just lived with Father my entire life. I think we both needed each other, but things have never really changed... He became set on finding me a wife, but either nobody was ever good enough or she didn't like me. And I never knew the first thing about dating... it's no wonder they found me odd.'
'Not knowing shit about dating doesn’t make you odd, though. Wednesday's fumbling along learning as she goes, I've never had a relationship before and grew up with some thoughts that've turned out to be really fucking off base as it happens. Some people just take it a bit slower than others.'
'Yes, but... I am odd. The word "manchild" has been used before, and I can't really argue with it. I'm far too old to behave the way I do.'
'The only thing even remotely close to "manchild" behaviour I can think of is having some stuffed toys on a shelf, and that’s pretty fucking normal.'
'...Even if you still cuddle them sometimes?'
'Well, they're no good left on the shelf as a decor piece, are they?'
'No, I suppose not. Father isn't a bad person, you know. He's just... set in his ways. And I'm learning some of those ways aren't the right ways.'
'Yeah, definitely not. I mean, sure I've warmed up to him a tiny bit because he's revolted by Tate and Abraxas, but man, it's not just this whole getting you a bride thing that I dislike about him. I'm not saying he's as bad as those two, because fuck, I don't want to imagine a third, but he's at least somewhat misogynistic, even if it's... more covert.'
'Neither of us are used to women behaving the way you do. But I didn't marry you to try to change you. If you're happy with the way I am, then I'm happy with the way you are.'
'Thanks. That's not actually what I meant, though. I know what I'm like, and that I'm definitely not going to be the kind of person everyone likes. I know I'm crude, insensitive, unbending and pretty rude at times, I'm not trying to imply that disliking or being unused to my personality or behaviour is sexist. I mean the way Richard spoke to me when we first met. Asking me if I was a virgin, because he'd "prefer" you to marry one.'
'...Be honest, if, hypothetically speaking, you were gay - do you think he'd ask a potential husband of yours about his virginity?'
'No, I don't think so.'
'Exactly. It's a really intrusive thing to ask of someone you're meeting for the very first time. And if I'd asked him if he'd held himself to the same standard, he would've been hugely offended, right?'
'Um, yes.'
'Yeah, I know, I don't wanna think about it and you won't even less. I'm just trying to point out the double standard. So long as everything's kept safe, what and who I do with my vagina is nobody else's business, just like what or who you do with your penis is nobody else's business. And alright, I am still a virgin, but the point remains, y'know?'
'I know. When you said you had thoughts that were off-base, what did you mean?'
'Oh Jesus. I figured that sex was often violent. I mean, consensually done, but that rough shit was still generally expected.'
'Ohhh... Oh dear.'
'Yeah. Anyway, going back a bit, who came up with the idea of you marrying Carmella? Tate, or Richard? How long was that even a plan, before she'd been told?'
'I honestly don't know. Father told me about it last year, and I assume they both agreed upon it together.'
'That would make sense. So, when did she find out? And when did you realise she'd no clue?'
'...When the mayor invited us for dinner one night last year. It was a spur of the moment thing, he just... sprang it on her. All of them.'
'...Jesus fucking Christ. What a fucking cunt. Not only does that fuck with her, but it must've done a good head job on you, too. What a fantastic fucking way to treat the people you want to actually stay friendly with!'
'I know... I felt horrible over it. She didn't deserve that.’
'No. Neither'd you either, though. At least she's away from Tate now. I know she and Wed keep in touch, sounds like she's got a good support network going on. ...Though I'm not very fucking convinced you do, however.'
'Oh, I'm fine... I don't need support.'
'Even though the whole shitshow's still bothering you after a year?'
'What can I do, though? She isn't here for me to apologise to her...'
'Counsellor? Got to be better than keeping it to yourself, right?'
'Thank you, but... I don't need one. I'll be alright. It's okay.'
'Alright, if you're sure. And I'm not judging you for the whole Carmella thing, either. I mean, it's fucking horrible, but that's because of Tate and Richard. No offence, I know he's your dad, but in my opinion he should've known better.'
'You're right. But at least us being married now has put that whole thing to bed...'
'Yeah. I'm guessing it was just part of the status quo, right? It sounds like for a long time it's been Richard basically leading how things go, and you accepting him being in charge.'
'More or less, yes.'
'Do you still worry about me hitting you...?'
'Nah. I like to think I'm pretty good at judging what people're like, and I don't think you could hurt a fly.'
'Oh good, I'm glad.'
'Feel better now you’ve got that off your chest?'
'Yes, thank you. Should we get going now?'
'Yeah, sounds good.'
'Hello, come in.'
'Oh wow! And congratulations!'
'Thanks... She's called Hope.'
'She's really cute.'
'She is. How was the birth?'
'Long and painful.'
'Ugh, I hear that. Not something I particularly want to experience again. How's the world's best husband been? I'd ask if he's been helpful, but I can already guess the answer.'
'Yeah, Abraxas has barely done anything, but I didn't expect otherwise. Actually, um, I'm kind of glad. I should probably get used to taking care of a baby's needs by myself...'
'I did hear you were both potentially thinking of leaving.'
'That's right. I don't think I can stay much longer.'
'So presumably that's the issue you're here to discuss?'
'Yeah... If that's okay, anyway.'
'It's absolutely fine. I completely agree that the pair of you are much better off away from those two, so if I can help make that happen, then I will.'
'I know I was rude last time. I didn't like to admit I was wrong. But now I know I've made a huge mistake.'
'In fairness, Indigo was getting rather... aggressive as well. But regardless, I'm glad you're reconsidering. Do either of you have a plan at all yet?'
'That's kind of why we're here... With Brie's twins and me having a newborn, we both kind of feel a bit stuck... Not to mention my other kids. And I wouldn't feel good about leaving Phaedra's twins with Abraxas, either.'
'Ah. Okay. So, first thing's first, deciding on a place to go. Where would you ideally escape to?'
'I don't know. Somewhere the cost of living isn't too high, and I can get a job.'
'Bridgeport, perhaps? It's fairly affordable, and plus with such a high population, Tate and Abraxas would have difficulties finding you there.'
'I was thinking of Twinbrook, maybe... Abraxas' oldest son lives there, and he unsurprisingly hates his dad... He might be willing to help out. I don't know. It's not gonna have many modelling jobs for Brie, either...'
'Bridgeport's good for jobs... Do you think it might be dangerous, going to Tate's hometown? He rarely visits, though.'
'That's a good point, fuck. What about somewhere else city-esque? Roaring Heights? Starlight Shores?'
'Hmm, I've had a couple of jobs in Starlight Shores before. That could work!'
'Great! Okay, look into that, and get a start on checking out properties there as well. Are you two going to be living together?'
'We thought it might help, yeah.'
'Right, so you're going to have to decide how large of a place you'll need, how many bedrooms and so forth.'
'...Probably gonna be a lot...'
'I'll have three kids, and she'll have... five. Ten people.'
'...Jesus Christ. Okay. Even keeping it two people per room, that's still going to be a five bedroom place. Would the two of you be comfortable sharing?'
'As long as it's big enough for a crib or two, I don't think it's a problem, is it...?'
'Nope, it's fine with me.'
'We already slept together, so it's fine.'
'...........Well, I suppose if I had to choose between Tate and Abraxas, I'd opt for suicide.'
'Now we just need those two to hook up, and we'll have all swapped together.'
'Holy shit, that's going to be in my nightmares!'
'Oh God! No, they'd spend too much time arguing which one's going to top.'
'I'm going to go and drink some bleach.'
'Sorry, but they deserve each other.'
'No, I definitely agree. But uh. Anyway. ...Was there anything else to discuss?'
'...Do you think I'm capable of this? I don't think my parents would speak to me again if I left.'
'I said this before, and I'll say it again, though I understand it's a little harsh: but if they'd be willing to cut you off because you left a misogynistic abusive murderer, they're not worth keeping in your life in the first place. That's not thinking of their daughter or their granddaughters at all.'
'I know... it'd just be difficult with no family.'
'It'd still be difficult anyway, just in a different way, if you were to stay and have to endure your parents continuing to peddle pro-Tate bullshit. Men like him and Abraxas wear you down. You can be the strongest, most no-nonsense person you know, but all it takes is time. They erode your self esteem, destroy your confidence and make you reliant on them. And as you're aware from our last chat, unfortunately I also know that from experience. It would've been so much more difficult to leave my ex if I'd had people in my ear telling me what a great man he is. Of course, I'm not going to make out that it's going to be sunshine and roses, but you will have support. I can still try to help out once you've both left, and maybe Tate and Abraxas' other, older children. I can't say for certain, obviously, but you are having their siblings.'
'That's true... Indigo dotes on her siblings, after all.'
'After what happened with Saraya, I doubt either she or her siblings would ever want to see me again.'
'I really can't say for certain. Perhaps they're still angry, perhaps they're not, I honestly don't know. But it's worth trying. Chances are they'd be more willing to listen if they know that you're looking to escape Tate. After all, it wasn't you that committed the arson.'
'I'll give it a shot.'
'And I'll talk to Indigo when she's back from honeymoon.'
'Great, good luck to you both. ...Christ, though, I still can't believe Indigo went through with it. I know she's stubborn as fuck, but...'
'I didn't expect it either... I hope she's happy.'
'Me too. I'm certainly going to be keeping an eye on how things progress.'

That was a cool update, Bloo :D
I enjoyed Indigo's chat with Quinn and it's cool to see Anna and Brie starting their plan to get away with Nal ^^

She must take after her mom! I feel like her name has a very deliberate symbolism, and I'm really crossing fingers and toes for Annalise and Brie getting away. Please, Nat&Bl00, don't be crueler writers than you have to.
Also, was it Abraxas' idea that a newborn baby needed her ears pierced? Because that just seems like something he could insist on.
