This user has the following games installed:

Sims 3, World Adventures, Ambitions, Late Night, Pets, Seasons, University Life, Island Paradise
Default Can you convert Sims from Sims 2 into 3?
Sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been discussed before or is just a stupid question- I wasn't really able to find anything.

I'm wondering if there is somehow a way to save a Sim made in The Sims 2 and convert it into The Sims 3. Meaning that I don't have to create the same Sim again in the new game - I can just load him up to have the same facial features and genetics. Or are the games too different for that?

Hello. Yes, the games are too different, I believe that won't work. What you can do is manually remake them. Take many pictures from different angles and open your game in windowed mode and try your best to replicate them with the aid of the pictures.
