I'm trying to create a Mars neighborhood. It has no roads, only canals. This is working fine with IP, but I want to change the default water taxi types to be more futuristic, or at least more generic than a checkered boat. I tried setting the world to be a Future World using Super CAW, but then it didn't show up in the list of worlds to install (presumably it still needs to be a base type world to play as the default neighborhood). Is there any way to replace the default taxis with other vehicles?

I wonder if you can find them and recolor them, if they cannot be replaced? I wish we could figure out how to get the monorail working.

For the taxis though, I think this may be one of those things that's tied to the future worlds.

So I have been trying for a good while to try to get futuristic vehicles into Lunar Lakes. I have found evidence that you can switch service vehicles but the instructions are a bit vague.
Here a person says it would be possible to make period appropriate replacements for Roaring Heights. I tried it, but frankly didn't understand the instructions at certain points:
Has anybody tried this method for hover taxis/cop cars?
