For some reason, any fencing whatsoever that I try to download (including this one http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=237058) simply refuses to show up in my game... help?

All custom fences require at least one EP - any EP - to work. If you only have the base game, that would be why.

This is not a building question and has been answered - if it's not an issue with only having the base game, then you need to go through the FAQs in Game Help. Thread locked.
