Not sure how to say this but have a Sim that is too far away when trying to hug another Sim and also off to one side. Tried using testingcheatsEnabled but either I didn't use the right thing or was of no help. Reloading hood doesn't help either. Any suggestions. I know this is a common problem .....

Is the sim modded in any way?
Have you used StretchSkeleton?
Have you tried to force an error to reset the sim?
Have you posed the sim with a posebox and forgot to reset/stop the pose?
Does it happen with other animations too, or just hugging?
Does it happen just with this sim or with other sims too?
Do you have any hacks/mods that influence hugging or other social behaviors?

if the problem is with just the one sim, moving him/her to another lot might be a possible solution.
if it is with multiple characters, some mod/hack is probably to blame. possibly not necessarily hugging/social ones; though those might be the most probable ones.
