Default How much volume of mod can I put in a folder so the Sims 4 will not collapse?

I have 8 gigabytes of mod in the folder. Now the Sims goes up, but stops in the middle of the game and gets stuck.
Is there a limit to the Capacity that can be put? Do I have to delete mods?

Before I made a purge in mods folder, I had over 22 GB of mods and game was still running. The point is, your mods need to be compatible with each other - probably some mods are conflicting or are outdated. Do 50/50 way; move half of your mods out of mods folder and check if your game is working after that.
