Default WCIF: Bar Drinks
Before the thread on bar drinks was closed there was a link to TNW's bar with extra drinks. http://www.theninthwavesims.com/ That was cool, but the drinks were all still the red/blue colours.

Has anyone made the bar with different colours for all the drinks or something similar?

Default replacements for drink colors, glasses (you can only choose two of each) and those stupid water bottles that the bartender pours from - all converted from TS3.

Or you can just have clear versions of the Maxis tumblers, with or without swizzle sticks. Note that you can't replace the colors of the drinks with these.

Provided you have Freetime (for the nectar textures) installed CJH_NectarAtBars.zip (9.8 kB)
I've never tested it without Mansion & Gardens. It also enables the 'Order Drink for' option and prevents nannies from using a bar while on the job.

I noticed that in game I can't access the buy whisky or buy beer for someone that shows in SimPE. Were those removed? Also, is there a way to change the colours of the bar drinks to something other than blue and red?

The glass is Accessory - BarTumbler Guid: 0x12E7F3F1 Group: 0x7F711E0D
To change the colour of the liquid you have to make changes to a Material Definition (TXMT) belonging to the glass: e.g bartumbler_liquidred_txmt or bartumbler_liquidblue_txmt. You have to extract them from objects02.package in Sims3D for Basegame. These txmt don't use any texturefiles but get their colour from property stdMatDiffCoef. The simplest way to change it is in "Categorized Properties".

Um, how do you know what colour it's going to be if there's no texture file?

Okay, I need some help.

The attached pic is how I've managed to get my drinks. I want one to look like whisky and the other to look like gin.

As you can see the whisky looks shamefully watered down. XD How could I make it a stronger colour and make the gin less cloudy?
