Default So we cannot use the same downloads for S3 as in S2?
Dont throw tomatoes!! I'm just really tired of perusing threads where the person is suggesting using a past Sims2 modded item in the new interface..

Can we just clear up that it's a misunderstanding? If it isnt a misunderstanding, what can we use from the S2 item listings?

That would be sweet if we could just convert them over but oh well The Sims 3 items will probably be even better.

You need?

Or you want?

(I'll give you a hint on the answer to those questions...it's not "need.")

Jesus. The game has only been out for a couple of weeks. I'm just happy to have a new game to play.

The only thing people "NEED" is to stop bitching and be patient. Christ.

I also feel the 'need' for new content.
I'd go back to the Sims 2 but it's just way too slow.

I'm pretty sure that it will be possible to convert meshes from Sims 2 format to Sims 3... not automatically, but with some fiddling on the part of the maker... once we actually know how to make new meshes available to the game. When that happens, I would anticipate a tidal wave of converted Sims 2 CC to hit

Thank you. I don't understand people who complain over people who complain. They contradict themselves.

On-topic, I'm missing my thousands of downloads that I used to have for TS2. I hope new TS3 downloads will be created soon.

Yes anyone noticed there is no ming dynasty vase? Very few desktop ornaments.... unless you like the free sponge bob ornament.

It just makes it really difficult to decorate the luxurious houses that we create, as there are no pictures that go well with it etc, But in time there will be. That gives me time to get better at my house building.

I'm almost sure that even if the very first amateur mesh to be put on the internet is a cartoon box, it will be downloaded 154800 times in one hour, seeing how much people are dying for new content ^^ !

A semantics argument since the word need is used for the definition of want, I don't see a problem. To want is to need and to need is to lack something desirable. I also don't see why people shouldn't be upset that certain objects they loved in the previous games are missing. It's not the end of the world, certainly, but it's worth mentioning.

My only big problem with it is the Sims 3 store. Otherwise, I'll just wait for expansions and custom content to fulfill the objects need.
