Default DDS saves as wrong size :/
I'm trying to make a multiplier/spectral/mask for wall art that is supposed to take up four wall spaces. My file in Photoshop is 1024x1024 but every time I save it as a .dds file it saves as 512x1024. I can save it as a TIFF or PNG but I'd like to be able to save as dds so that the files aren't so big. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Please help. ~~

The moment you save you have a popup of the Nvidia plugin, check the image options in that window.
Maybe the scaling is off?
Other then that i wouldn't know...

If you use tiff or png you can always export the dds file from without TSRW as DDS after import.

hmmm. Perhaps you need to update your DDS utilities for photoshop? Are you in the US?

Go here and pick your world region - http://www.nvidia.com/content/global/global.php

Once you are in there, in the search box, type DDS.
NVidia texture tools for Photoshop (Make sure you get the correct 32 or 64 bit version that matches your photoshop version)- http://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-...adobe-photoshop
Get the DDS Utilities, http://developer.nvidia.com/content...ies-83111271645
Get the DDS Viewer, http://developer.nvidia.com/content/dds-viewer
the Windows texture viewer is useful,., etc.

im not sure if this will help or not, but upon opening a DDS in Photoshop, does a popup come up saying use original scaling or what not? if so, make sure it is checked to do that. Also, when you go to save, does the nvidia plug in pop up when you save? Did you check to make sure the size is right in the nvidia thing? Are you choosing the 5th option down in the drop down menu? I always do for wall art and my wall art retains it size. I dont know how much help i was, but i really hope you figure it out!
