Default do we have anything like this
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=584581

I know we have apocalypse challenges, and I've kind of done my own thing in my nuclear winter and firebombed hoods, but I was wondering whether there is a city or a hood already set up with ruined houses and stuff.

And, if I can sneak in a wcif here. I was also wondering whether anyone had mad wallpaper that looks like terrain paint, so I can cover over those bunkers and not make them so easy to see.

about wall cover that looks like terrain; I made some. ground, floor, and wall versions of "lush" and "desert"; also solid versions.
after I get Nightlife, I would make equivalents of "concrete" and "dirt".

neighborhood already with ruined houses; would depend on what you would call "ruined".

Did you upload those anywhere?

I was speaking of bldgs like in the link url I provided. Maybe more like a neighborhood.

A lot of the buildings pictured in that link you provided look like fairly ordinary buildings with grungy ruined textures on them. Pixelhate has a lot of grungy walls, floors, etc. for TS2 that you might like. You can use them to make existing buildings look abandoned and/or ruined.

http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?gs=0&u=26277

Psychosim has made a lot of stuff for his Orwellian dystopia that is grungy and could work for an abandoned village. I don't remember whether he does lots or buildings. He has quite a lot of objects and neighborhood deco.

Psychosim has some stuff on MTS
http://www.modthesims.info/browse.php?gs=0&u=896633

Psychosim's Livejournal (BIG blog - MANY things here - may take awhile to go through it all.)
http://psychosim.livejournal.com/

I also found some of Psychosim's stuff on Garden of Shadows (GoS is a good site to look for creepy rundown stuff anyway)

A ruined building with shops along the ground floor. I think this is only neighborhood deco though.

I searched MTS for "abandoned" and the results included some lots like abandoned warehouses etc. This lot was designed to look like something from Fallout 3. It's just one house though, and doesn't look like the village you referred to. It has quite a long list of CC.

I didn't have time to search very long. I hope there's something here that you can use.

It's an interesting idea. Maybe if I ever manage to finish one, I'll upload it. That's not likely to be any time in the near future, though.

I use the sims as a psychology simulator...

Definitely hood deco. If anyone wants to build actual ruined lot, there's this build set: http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=350615

Do look at these as well:

and then (sorry):https://www.thesimsresource.com/art.../skipsetitems/1

I downloaded from there for the current urban revival competition (see link in my signature) - Tinhouse has some really nice wall overlays and other stuff. I also have some of Pixelhate's stuff from here.

Wow! Thank you! I didn't expect you to do that for me. What a wonderful person you are.

And all of you who are digging things up, thank you all so much! These will really help my apocalypse hoods.

Out of curiosity, do you guys play hoods like that, and how do you do it?

Yeah, I know. I've read up on it, but the challenges tend to not interest me. I'm a bit of a rebel and have my own unbreakable rules with which a challenge might conflict. It if upsets my OCD, I can't do it.

I was just wondering whether anyone else played one on their own.
