This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default UI Mod ?
From time to time I use the Clean Installer to look about my downloads folder, if everything is alright. Tody the Clean Installer found a file : type: UI mod , name: zwinterglob.
Does somebody know whats a UI mod is and if I needed that? I can't remember that I have download or install it..

A UI mod changes the color, look and feel of the game's User Interface (control panel, buttons, etc.) Google wasn't able to find zwinterglob, so I can't tell exactly which one that is.

Here are some examples of UI mods to show you what they do:

Here is the MTS's Sims 2 UI Mod section. If ya take a browse through you might find you have one of these mods to which the file you have belongs.

I think for me, the only 2 UI mods I have are from Dan The Man - his seasons color changer and the larger font size.

Thanks, but I have never downloaded something like that. Could it be that something like that came with a lot, sim etc?

You need to always check over cc that comes in a lot (especially if it's not from here) Outside of MTS you will still find lots with flamingo portals, CEP files, hitchhiker cc (bin, stair and mail box recolours) so yes it's very possible you got that from a lot. Sims only come with Body Shop items such as hair, clothes and makeup.

Thanks, good to know. Normaly I check the lots I have downloaded with the clean Installer, but it looks that I missed that.

though this is an old thread, I thought I would pop in and say, I downloaded a bunch of cc from the downwithpaysites booty, one of which was a mod by Pandorasims called Naked Boom Box. This file as well as zboomboxfilez was in the zip, so i'm assuming it's something to do with the boom box. I have no idea how it works as i'm not going to bother using it, but I thought i'd help clear up any confusion for anyone else who googles this file
