Default Larger houseboats?
Is there any way to create a larger houseboat? The houseboat foundations in the game are so tiny they're unusable. Is there a way to create at least a 30 x 30 one? Thank you to any one who replies.

I don't know of anyone who's made a mod to get larger houseboats yet. Sorry

Nope, and it would be quite a feat to do. Besides having to enlarge the houseboat bases, you'd be creating routing issues in some parts of the world.

You have to remember that S3 houseboats are "houseboats". They aren't floating mansions or yachts, and most modern houseboats are exercises in extremely efficient design. S3 houseboats also allow you to place the walls at the outermost edge of the lot, where as a standard 30x30 land lot really has only 28x28 of housing space. The largest houseboat in S3 is 20x15, which would be around 1200-1500 square feet per floor in the Real World -- that's plenty of space for most people. If your Sim family is rich, the houseboat wouldn't be their only residence anyway.

I agree with The Shoveler on this. If you don't need it to move like a houseboat though, you may just build some walls around it and make it appear to float.
