Default NPC interractive restaurant and cinema?
How can I have NPCs order from the menu (Business as Usual Bistro) or/and watch movies in Le Cinema Plumbob's LALMS (Large as Life Movie Screens) TV screens in commercial lots? Including without an active household in there.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

I don't think sims will eat and watch movies/tv at the same time...it's either one or the other. Maybe if you exclude dining tables they will sit on a chair/couch and eat and it will just seem like they are watching the TV/movie screen?

Oh no. I meant seperately. Get sims using menus with it's business time industrial oven on the lot, and in the other watch movies through the large tv. I want Sims to either or both of these premium content in the world. They don't autonomously come and use those objects.

I would assume then, you would just set up your restaurant with the objects required, i.e., the oven and the menus.

There is this mod that may be helpful as well - http://modthesims.info/d/513025/the...-1-63-1-67.html

You could try setting the lot type to "visitors welcome" as I think that draws any type of sim to a lot. There are other mods that will push sims into being more active such as http://simsasylum.com/tfm/index.php...utonomy-fixer/&
http://modthesims.info/d/552227/new...s-in-clubs.html Lot would need to be set as one of the Late Night bars/clubs.

I don't know if sims can multitask eating and watching TV, IMO.

Sorry, badly formulated question. I wasn't asking for multitasking. Just having sims get attracted and use the two premium content as they're suppose (If advertisements aren't lying).

I did, even set one to hangout. I also place fitting RH rugs (bistro and diner to actual restaurant, cinema in theater) to magnify the pull.

If I had to guess, is probably because there aren't enough residents (there are three in total resided families) to make a significant affect. Also, could be due to the fact that I have a resort, besides these two, that had got all Sims distracted and pulled. I sort of thought that the number of population wouldn't matter as there are townies anyway.

Yes, but with barrier to entry system. As for the bistro (using the ani's btw), once I send with her data, some other sims strangely join on there one. One Sim also remain a bit there dining after my Sim left. Perhaps I should look into the thread I made, that had an interestion info of lot attractors and ways to populate. The movie venue could use additional gameplay (register perhaps?) that maybe would pull Sims.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

My world currently has the dining rabbit holes and the movie one. I do wonder If these could interfare, as sims working in this rabbit holes might be made to be busy the whole day. Well I'm sure the more houses I add with more variety of RH, the more crowded and busy the two venues will be.

So, you're recommending to relocate the bistro and diner in another lot, keeping the interactive restaurant without them? Hmm... I should try that out. Yeah, I wasn't planning to add any arcade in the cinema, but I'lll keep that in mind.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

It's just kinda strange when I pan over these lots with walls put on cutaway, I see Sims either standing on the lot or going to work. Not much interaction with objects going on. I suspect is either due to lacking rabbit hole variety or the damn resort that hooks the sims away.

Attracts paying Sims to community or residential lots.

I have one lot that has the bistro rug and the professional stove. The restaurant is always packed with sims eating from the menus.

I'm pretty sure both objects should have a tunable value to make them more INTERESTING to interact with.

For the Movie Screen:
Code:
[TunableComment("How interesting to look at this (range 0:100) when turned on"), Tunable]
private static int kLookAtInterestingnessWhenTurnedOn;

At first glance, I couldn't find one for the industrial oven and menu, but it has to be there. I've definitely seen NPCs use it, so there has to be a value to determine the attractiveness of the object.

Apologize for doulbe post: I think with the attraction I got figured out. Now I need to know If Sims can autonomously buy a ticket from the ticket machine.

I'm pretty sure they don't buy tickets but they don't NEED tickets. They just can go through the barrier without a ticket.

ETA: I don't really use the barrier much. If I want to charge NPCs for a lot I use the Ticket Machine mod. It's 10 times better than the ticket machine as it auto charges Sims who visit the lot and it has the power to PULL Sims from the world to visit the lot.

Inactive sims do not go through the animations of purchasing a ticket from the Barrier to Entry machines. But they do purchase one to enter where required. The ticket lands in their inventory until it expires and they are supposed to be charged the required amount for it. I think it was done this way so there wouldn't be queues of foot-stomping sims waiting to use the machines when large households or groups descend on such lots at the same time.

Inge's ticket machine mod is great but, I thought, exclusively for when the active household owns the lot and a member of it is present to "run things." I always thought it was supposed to turn itself off if a non-owner household is active or no one from the active/owning household is present on the lot. Have I been missing something?

I see. So far I seen only one Sim (that had took the night sleeping on commercial bench, lol) get in one of the auditoriums and watched a movie without my Sim presence on that lot. I dunno If it's worth my time experiment with different lot assignments and objects to attract masses to the lot, so decent number of lots. Reminder of how this lot looks like:

A bistro and theater RB present as camouflage panels on the floor. It's visitor-allowed and I Just recently set the world classification from town to city. So maybe Sims are expected to arrive at night?

ETA: I decided to be more tested on a more population-densed world such as sunset valley. I'll post the results.

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.
