Afro hair for elder and child males
I remember a creator that did lots of Afro hair, but can't find now. Also/or some of the Maxis hair would do, but their black hair looks GREY!. Also beards/stubble for EM that are NOT grey!
Stand up, speak out. Just not to me..

Not exactly afro, but this is for toddlers of both sexes http://www.insimenator.org/index.ph...c&topic=14748.0
It's an unhidden maxis hair.
I know Nouk did more hairs than what she has showin up here, but I can't get her site to load. She may have more male hairs on her site if you can get it to work. Nouk was pretty good about makin hairs of all ages, or maybe I was just lucky in that the ones I liked she'd did
Edit: Oh, and I put this one in my game as a default that way I was more apt to use it as this looks much better imo. http://modthesims.info/d/526286

BlueSoup uploaded some of Nouk's hairs to simscave a couple of years ago. Most of the images seem to be intact, at least for the male hairs (a lot of the female ones were on Photobucket). There are two styles of male dreads - one long and one short.
http://simscave.mustbedestroyed.org...php?board=154.0
One thing that you might do - go through the male hair section at the Default Database site and look at the suggestions for the various Maxis "African" hairstyles. Many of the creators have links to non-default versions of their hairs or sites where they got the original non-defaults. I didn't see many "Afro" style hairs there though - most seem to be dreads and braids. You'll have to decide for yourself if there's anything there that you can use.

Calibrat: not what I was looking for, but had to get two of them anyway!
RoxEllen: had to navigate database, can't tell how the default hair is different from Maxis. Wanted to try a toddler hair (maybe it will actually look BLACK?) but can't download..

I started to try to walk you through the process I use and discovered it was harder than I thought it would be for people not familiar with those sites. I'm going to go through my hairs and post links to the sites I got them from (IF I can still find them ).

You might find something you like here, though unfortunately most creators don't provide any info about how the hairs look on elders or toddlers: http://allthehairs.uk/?q=search&fie...1&sort_by=title

Here are the ones that I have in my game. I hope you can use some of them. I -think- that all of these hairs are available for all ages.
Bergatory has several hairs here that are available as either default or custom:

The black version of the Wildfire mesh (the big afro) may not be dark enough for you . If this is the case, Voleste has a version with a darker black color. All the pictures here were on photobucket and are now gone. The Wildfire hair is the second one up from the bottom of the page.

Here on MTW, Artemida has these short dreadlocks available as either custom or as a default replacement.

Poppet - top image - the one in the middle (EA Braid) is also available for male sims.

Selenaq13's version of Trapping's Wavy Afro. The model in the picture is female so it's easy to miss. It's the second large image on this page.

I think that's all of mine. If I find any more, I'll let you know.
