A couple of years ago I came upon a software that generated random names for Sims 2. I don't know exactly how it worked but I believe the software only generated names and surnames that were used by Maxis.

I can't find that software anywhere now, and I play a very strict ''maxis match'' ideology in my game where every newborn babies names must have been used by Maxis before so it fits the game.

It would also be helpful if there is a list of names (first names mainly) used by Maxis-made sims in Sims 1 and Sims 2. I used SimsWiki to look for the names but if there were a list it would be better. I'm not interested in last names since I never create Sims at CAS, I only play the ones made by Maxis.

I hope you guys understand what I'm looking for.
