Situation
On October 1, 2009, the domain address charmed-sims.com was signed over to a new owner. The new owner wants to restructure and strengthen the website to better meet the needs and wants of The Sims community who also enjoy the television show Charmed. In establishing a new website design, the domain charmed-sims.com for the first time creates a better free downloads site whose primary mission will be to help provide players of The Sims game to have a Charmed and spellbounding time on our website.

Here is where you come in: this new charmed-sims.com domain will soon be hiring staff, adding lots of downloads, sending out newsletters, and opening its own store. It needs a piece of identity ware to go with its name: Charmed Sims needs a logo header.

Objective
To create a logo header for the Charmed Sims website (and get some respect in the process).

General Info
Creativity, originality, aesthetics, use of space and color will all be used to measure the logo's merit in judging. Tongue may be placed in cheek, if desired.

Logo Guideline
Logos should not include the phrase "Charmed Sims". We will provide the text. Size of the logo needs to be 960x105 pixels. Beyond that, it's all you. The images attached to the downloads posted in the downloads area can help if you need inspiration, there's stuff there about all three sims games.

Submissions
Send logos to [email protected].
Please include your name, your preferred email address, your username from the Charmed Sims website and your address of residence (we need to be able to send you the prize).

Logos should be submitted in .png, .gif or .jpg file format.


Rules
This contest is void where prohibited. All submissions become the shared property of artist and Charmed Sims. Yeah, we have a conscience: if we want to somehow rip you off we'll at least let you know first. Entries must be received by November 30, 2009. Any prizes awarded will be at the sole discretion of Charmed Sims. Top entrants will be recognized on the website. Heck, all entrants will· the best just get the better placement. This contest is for America residence only. Sorry for all those creative artists who live in other countries.

The entry must be your original design, and not a copy (like our current one, shame on us) that may be subject to copyright laws.
